I saw the pic when you first posted it. That's why I gave it a rep point.

As per usual, No one doesn't make any sense.

Now it's fine. To avoid issues you should probably follow the administrator's tip (Forum Rules/Guidelines/Tips and Tricks! PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING) and upload your pictures to the forum's site.

We are cat people. We have 6, and at least 3 strays that we feed. The first picture is the 5 we had before our latest addition, which is Simon, the stray that came in.

Thanks for the tip - I actually searched the site for the best way to post pictures and didn't find that link - prepare to be inundated with Sheepdog pictures!

We had a dog like that, drove me up the wall all the time, wife loved him dearly so I put up with him. Miss that guy immensely everyday, honestly. Didn't realize the kind of personality that made him very unique until we got a couple more dogs. I'm sure you'll miss your cat as well.

Not a freakin' chance. I won't miss her begging all the time, or her howling at 5AM, or her tracking litter all over the place, or her ornery personality, or her scratching the woodwork.

It looks like you are inconsiderate towards her and the discomfort she causes is some reciprocation. Do you play with her? From the description she's looking for your attention. You should introduce her to Esteban: he would understand her and tell you what she wants.

Nah, I don't think so. Cats do what they want. Some just aren't as bad as others. Some are worse. His cat sounds similar to mine except I give my cat plenty of things to scratch on so luckily she leaves the furniture alone.

I dunno, if you're a cat person you tolerate cats and you learn to live with them. I've had at least one cat all of my life. Some were better than others. I just learn to love them and put up with their idiosyncrasies no matter what.

Why? Because I'm a cat person. 😺

PS - besides, he can't introduce her to me, hypothetically speaking. She's already gone.

Inconsiderate? That's a pretty arrogant statement considering you know nothing about me or how much my wife and I do for cats. This cat was on her way to being euthanized 18 years ago and has instead lived a long life of comfort and safety, despite her misbehaving.

Go pound sand.

I don't remember if I ever posted here about our OCD psycho dog and his squeaker-net.

When he gets scared of being attacked by predators because he's tired or sick, he methodically goes around the house hunting for all of his squeaker toys and lays them out in a detection grid on the floor so nothing can sneak up on him. Sometimes he spends over a half hour carefully moving them around until he has everything set up right in his mind.

When we go to bed at night, he also takes security very serious. He will stay awake and sit at attention guarding his "pack" (DW and I), and the only time that he will stand down is if I tell him that I have the first watch and he can go to sleep.

Long story short, I wasn't feeling great last night and went to bed before him. Since I was asleep and didn't tell him that I had the first watch, he took it upon himself to set up a full squeaker-net outside the bedroom door to keep everyone safe. When I got up for one of my frequent bladder trips to the drivers lounge, I stepped on a land mine (rubber squeaker frog toy) that he intentionally placed in the bedroom doorway. He woke up in full attack mode, and my DW jumped when she heard the squeaker alarm and dog.

He is the smartest animal that I've ever met, and never ceases to amaze me.....

Little guy was neutered today... He is NOT a happy camper. My wife likes to try and put clothes on him, which he absolutely hates, so the cone is most definitely a no go.

Yes, they are so sad looking. I had Talii spayed when she was six months old. I think I was happier than her when the cone finally came off.

That is just impressive behavior. He’s set up a whole trip wire system.
Was just reading a book on Khe Sanh and your post and the book reminded me of this meme
