good deal.. ok, here is the one i proposed a while back, but i was out of turn...

E90 at a drive in movie theater..not required to have a movie playing, but try and be in the 'seating' area facing the screen

yea the're a few that are still surviving. The only reason i remember is because i was sitting in my truck bed watching the movie and at some point someone reached in my window and stole my phone...GRRR

good work.. i know there is 1 still operational theater about 15 minutes from me. iv never been there but they claim to have 6 SCREENS! didnt kno drive ins came that large lol

i just noticed you were from Cyprus, bimmers extend to all parts of the earth! how is the mood in Cyprus with all the conflict going on in Libya/Egypt and the various other uprisings?

yes the BMW family is quite large here mostly with e46's..

well its pretty quiet here for the time being, but there are english military bases here that are getting ready for planes coming from the uk. the news said that they will attack and the bases here will have a lot of work. my dad works at the airport and said that there are people coming from egypt and libya.. couple of weeks ago we had a lot of people from egypt that fled the country..
on one hand we know that people in those countries have it rough with their governments especially libya but on the other i cant help but think that this is another oil/controlling the region game..
we will see..

yea i was just reading about your country and saw that the British have 2 bases there. I have to imagine they are going to get a lot of traffic since it is such a close location. Hope everything stays peaceful around there!

btw... the beaches look amaaaazing lol a friend of mine has a house in Thasus, Greece that I may be visiting this summer.. one benefit of an island state/nation!

the beaches are very good, lots of sand and clean water.. highly reccomended for vacation.. 9 months of summer

usually we have lots of tourists coming from the UK.. we are a great place for turism, a good country to raise kids and everything, unemployment and crime rates are quite low but its a small economy, small island, not much to do, you dont really have the opportunities you could have elsewhere..

on the previous i have to say that it saddens me that major forces of the world (USA UK Germany well most of europe) are concentrading on libya basically taking care of their own interests, and not concentrading more on helping Japan..

its the leading bank here together with bank of cyprus.

major industries dont really exist, tourism is our major industry.. low tax rates benefit foreign investors to open holding companies here. lots of russian investors.. lots of offshore companies, but if you ask me we dont use our geographical position to its full potential. we are between three continents.. lately the developer companies/industry is doing quite good, houses and apartments are build everywhere now, mostly bought by foreign investors as they are much cheaper that their countries and as i said the taxes are comparatively low. of course the worldwide economic crisis slowed things down a bit..
recently they have discovered natural gas in the sea between us and israel. hopefully this will pick the economy up, we will see if they give us a piece of the pie as well

That is pretty interesting. My wife wants to take a trip to Greece and that area. Maybe we will have to spend a few days in Cyprus as well. Sounds like a nice place.

well in that case i will be happy to show you around or tell you places to visit during your stay..
if you are going to greece, kerkyra (corfu), mykonos, santorini are of the favourite destinations, depending what you are looking for really..
in Cyprus, limassol, paphos and ayia napa are the most visited destinations but we are so small that you can get across the whole island on a 4 hour drive

It is ashame how quickly the mindset of the media gets shifted to the next 'hot topic'. i mean it only took a week or two for all the concentration on Haiti to go away and the media picked up on something else. same with japan, a week or so of coverage and now the media is starting to be dominated by libya. idk if it is necessarily the support foundations changing attention, but the media definitely jumps on the next hot button item tooo quickly

true that.. totally agree.. media follow anything that sells at the moment.. although i just saw a very good documentary on BBC world news about japan. the catastrophy is massive.. hopefully everything will go well with the nuclear reactors. if they have a strike like this as well it would be devastating for the country. an earthquake of that magnitute, then a tsunami, followed by nuclear explosions.. our hopes are with them.. japan is a nation i really admire (although i havent met a japanese in my life) for their work ethic, discipline, and generally their values and i hope they recover soon..
