That's what I plan to do when I move away from RFT's.
So I can either go with 225/35/19 and 255/35/19 or 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Will it throw off the speedo? How about the dealership? I've read that they are strict about what tire size you go with.

The only problems i have seen with the dealer is they say your wheel and tire warranty (if you purchased it) will be void. They only recommend Run Flat Tires. However, if you dont have that wheel / tire warranty then what tires you put on your car are your choice and the dealer cant say anything about it.

I truly believe the dealer just wants to make money on the RFT's, plus a RFT doesnt go all the way flat. So when you are dealing with low profile tires it will keep your wheels from getting scuffed up.

Cobb just released there N54 catted down piples and they look awesome with 200 CEL cats.

Does anyone think it is worth trying these vs the catless?

Thanks,
I am planning on dealing with this by putting resonators in the midpipe (and taking out the secondary cats).

Is it a lease?

You have to have the right size and RFT when you turn it back in,
otherwise they will charge you full price on the tires regardless.

The stock sizes are 225/35/19 and 255/30/19. I was just in the market for new rubber and went with the stock size in a Michelin PSS. They work for me. Here's a thread on tire sizes for 313's

Nah it's mine. I just don't want there to be any issues related to suspension and them blaming it on the tire sizes

Yea I know the stock sizes but the Michelin a/s 3's don't come in the 255/30/19. Neither does the continental dws or any all season for that matter.

So I'll go with the stock 225/35 up front. For the back though it's gonna have to be either Michelin 275/30/19 or 265/30/19 for the dws.

I'm wondering, since I'm upping the size in the rears, is it ok to leave the fronts the stock size?

Dinan Intercooler to keep my warranty?

Hi

I run on Cobb Stage 1 aggresive . My warranty is good for few years.

If I want to keep my warranty and go for Stage 1+, what do you think of buying the Dinan intercooler from the dealer? I know that this will cost me more...

How much difference did you notice from just the stage 1? Any hp/tq difference numbers to prove? Any cons so far?

I would run 235 in front and 265 in back. A little bit more traction, rim protection, and bump compliance. Also limits understeer (225/265 may increase it).

Yeah thats what I was leaning towards. I'll have to skip the A/S 3's and go with the Conti DWS.

What do you guys think about this? It's from my YouTube channel regarding a BMW video
I did long time ago regarding Drive Modes on the 335is back when I had the JB4 installed...

I thought you all might enjoy it since none of you are running the N54 in this thread either...

Contemplating Cobb. Had Procede on my old car but it was a 135i. How much difference does it make since the 335is already has more power? Don't intend on doing supporting mods like intercooler or downpipes or running e85.

Cobb protune by Jake at PTF and FMIC added 70whp/100lbtq at the wheels to my 335is, that is with a "conservative" tune.
I would do the fmic, well worth it!

Might do FMIC. Stock Charge Pipe is fine. My 135i was tuned for 50-60K miles of its life and Charge Pipe was replaced at 85K miles.
