Now that the longest week in NFL history is over, I'll be checking out 1883 tonight.

Can’t wait for Ozark! I finished the first 8 seasons of Dexter. Getting ready to start current season.

I’ve been impressed with 1883, it’s well cast and written. Good to hear that we’re a month away from Ozark.

So my wife and I watched the new Grand Tour episode last night. I love the series all the way back through Top Gear, some episodes are hit a miss though. This one was hilarious, we actually paused it a couple of times we were laughing so hard. They really take the piss out of the French and the "French car review art film" was brilliant.

Though Star Trek discovery it's still not meeting expectations (i'm gonna watch anyway, it's a lifelong addiction), the David Cronenberg character, yes the Director David Cronenberg, is outstanding.

Not bad, quick 3 episode mini-series.

Dexter New Blood is entertaining but it's nothing like the Dexter we all fell in love with. Something about it not being based in Miami and him not being a bloodstain pattern analyst doesn't work for me. The entire premise of the show is different as a result. If there's another season of this, I'm out.

I agree it's not the same. It feels dark. Maybe because it's winter in that upstate NY town. The irony of him being a serial killer and a forensics blood splatter expert was classic. Let's see what the rest of the season brings.

We've been watching, it is a bit different but I'll stick with it for now.

Started Mayor of Kingstown last night, interesting. Sort of a slowish pace with some pretty brutal scenes. So far so good. From the same guy who does Yellowstone.

Is it just me or is Yellowstone sort of off this season, is just doesn't seem to have the same flow as the first 3. I think I only have one or two episodes left. Hopefully they get it together a bit better.

We watched it a while back, great show!

I’d be very surprised if anyone ever guessed “who done it”.

Funny you mentioned this because I'm probably one of the few ppl who haven't seen the original series, couldn't get into it as it looked dated but after watching episode 1 of this new one, had to go back and give it another shot and it's pretty good now. Too bad I need to get through all 9 seasons in order to catch up.

Ya, really like it. Just a bit sad to see Sam Elliott aging, remembered him from Roadhouse.

Sam Elliot is amazing in everything he does, his work in A Star is Born was certainly Oscar Nomination worthy.

I bet he was, too bad I'll never watch that movie, too cringey for me. What was that cringey quote Lady Gaga always uses during the interview runs? "If 100 ppl don't believe in you but you have that 1 person?..." Omg, kill me now LOL

Sam was also great in Tombstone. Anyway, you're right, he's great in everything.

Yes, he was great in Tombstone. And who could forget his character in The Big Lebowski? lol

PS - have not seen A Star is Born either.
