the cdv mod costs $26.00 plus the install which is no longer than 10-15 mins. It has a smaller hole therefore less fluid gets through when the clutch is depressed making shifting easier. It great for people who are just learing to drive a 6spd. But a great mod if you put in a UUC short shift kit which I totally recommend. Its night and day to what bmw gives us and what bmw sells as a short shift kit

actually the delete replaces the CDV, or clutch delay valve. the delay valve allows you to push the clutch pedal in with same force, but when you let go of the clutch it engages the clutch slowly. keeps you from grenading the transmission, at the expense of burning the clutch up.

the CDV mod replaces it with a piece that has no one way check valve in it..fluid flows back and forth with no restriction...

Its $305.00 but they are offering 15% off so i got it for $255.00. you will see $305-$454 but thats includes a DSSR which you dont need. Probably the best mod you can do if you have a 6mt
