kalim what's the best way to describe how much drag there should be when adjust valves on e30? I keep hearing "slight drag" and I'm not sure if I'm making mine too tight or too loose. I need to redo mine this weekend hopefully

Slight drag means that you can pull the feeler gauge in and out of the gap without trying too hard. I use a brass gauge and it leaves a light scratch on the surface of the gauge.

hmm i dont think my gauge is brass. when i was in socal i heard ticking noise and i want to double check to make sure all my valves are set properly. it takes me a while to adjust them since i'm ocd and keep thinking it's not set right
