Did a lap of Mount Rainier. Went south from Seattle to 410 all the way into the park then cut across on 123 to 12 and out to Packwood for lunch. After that we went out of the park to Morton then to Longmire and up to Paradise. Played in the snow a bit then back to Seattle. BMW must have had these roads in mind when they built this car.

I finally replaced the low-beam bulb that died!

I know that sounds really pathetic, but I'm a novice when it comes to car repair and it felt really good to be able to do something myself rather than have to pay someone else to do it.

Is there an SD card in the body of the camera itself? I feel like if someone is going to break in my car, they'll just brake off the camera and take it with them which means I would never have access to the files on it. I see on Amazon they have one with cloud service (10GB on the cloud)... Also how does it do in low light situations and does it get motion activated?

Many questions, but before I spend money on something like this, i want to hear what others who have it have to say about it.

Thanks!
Since I have the unit I'll chime in for you. It's a really great DashCam in terms of features and functionality. Daytime Video is good from both cams. Night time video in low light is so so. Rear cam can barely see much at night. (Normal & Parking mode). Yes as you've guessed, the storage is located in the main unit which is visible to all eyes. To use the cloud service of this cam you would need to have an active wifi internet connection. Motion activation can be activated if needed and other little features. do check out their website for more info.

In the past month; swapped Michelin X-Ice3's on 17" for new Michelin PSS on 19"'s for summer. Oil change (Mobil 1 European formula), alignment, wash, claybar, wax with Zymol, Gummi-phlege all rubber, replaced frayed tension cords on the folding top. Waiting for new hub-centric rings to replace the ones Costco damaged when they swapped the wheels.
2008 E93 Alpine white 71,000 miles. Love this thing.

Started paint correction in advance of BMW Centennial Celebration here in Seattle

Washed the e91 thoroughly with Gtechniq G-wash after a full decontamination pass with Dawn dishwashing detergent (to strip off the old wax & sealants).

Began the correction process by taking the clay bar to the whole car. My front bumper is still not close to perfect, but I'm ready to polish now once the Sonax Perfect Finish shows up, folowed by another pass with the clay.

I'll finish off the job with a rubbing alcohol wipe down and a full Gtechniq job on the corrected paint.

So far so good.

I have this dashcam. Is awesome IMO. Easy to install, hardest part was finding a slot in the fuse box to hook it up to. You buy now

Same old, same old, I dreamed about putting the DSC hydro pump back in. I should have the part back, but now I don't have time this weekend. I may attempt late Friday with lights on in the garage, or in the wee hours Sat. But there's no way I can get through 2 bleeds and we're away the following weekend too....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH timing is everything!
