Put in a new battery, redid the inlets in my 1M bumper, and installed M3 rep side skirts.

Its in the garage, with me contemplating installing the AFE race pipes myself or getting a shop to do it. Either way, they'll find their way onto the car eventually!

Not mine....wife's. Changed her oil with pennzoil platinum that I got for $5/5 qts. The last of 9 jugs. Wish she let me buy more, when I told her it would take 3 yrs to use it all, she said stop hoarding it! I think Shell Oil sent a PI to snoop around our garage 2 yrs ago....

There was a little catch to the rebate. You entered a code from the cap online, and you get $1/gal off Shell gas, 20 gal. Max., for every 5 qt jug. So say you only got 13 gal, well you only saved $13. Also, you could stack them. This was when gas was over $3/gal, so I was taking $3/gal off and making sure I pumped 20 gal by bringing gas cans.....I will dig up an old pic to illustrate.

I think IMHO 3 yrs in the jug is fine....

Just photographed it. I still need to be compound/polished on the driver's side, forgive the Previous Owner's negligence.

Finally finished these, BC Forged HB-04 Refinished the centers in satin black with gloss black outers. I don't know why i thought 2 piece wheels were a good idea, so many bolts....

Which fuse is the rear shade? There seems to be no indication of it on my fuse map. I've been meaning to do this myself.

Here's the finished car after polishing and sealing with Gtechniq C2v3. I did not to C1 this year. Perhaps after I get the door dings done and the new bumper on.

Not perfect paint correction, but good enough for now. That will keep all the pollen at bay until I can get a full weekend to work on the full paint correction.

Replaced Base with Sport Seats! Major PITA

Wife's '07 328xi came with heated sport seats. My new 2011'335i xDrive came with heated non-sport seats. Without the side bolstering & seat extensions, my sorry a** was sliding all over the place with the turbo.
If'd up by buying a set of mint condition seats at a steal. I just overlooked the fact that they were unheated.
$1K later for the heated seat retrofit kit, I have acquired solid autonotive upohlstery skills
