I'll put in another plug here for Bumbu Rum. It's easily on par with Plantation 20.

I would not call a "favorite or preferred' item, service or product a Homer.

I have @ 10 Rums on hand at any given time. But my personal preference is Plantation.
I actually enjoy trying different things if you couldn't already tell since starting this thread. So I will look for your suggestion too.

Came up empty searching Duty Free at the airports in Rome and London Heathrow, but did manage to find a bottle of Nikka From The Barrel at a small shop in Sorrento, Italy. And of course we had to pick up a bottle of Limoncello as well.

Fair enough. I like the sweet. Especially over ice.

I like it okay as well just prefer less sweet. The highland park 12 is my first scotch not too bad low on the smokey scale I would say so probably why I'm alright with it.

I went with the "Northern Harvest Crown Royal Rye" last night. A single ice in a small snifter before dinner. Was quite pleasant, and I hadn't noticed 90 proof until after a nice little buzz.

I prefer less sweet as well, which is why I enjoy the Pantation XO so much, it reminds me much more of whiskey but with a nice smooth touch of sweetness.

Extra Anejo Grand Mayan Tequila. Rich and smooth with a sweet taste up front, has a nice finish too. Love the way this bottle looks, just wish I had more of it.

I've got a local store I go to here in San Diego. Depending on the size of the bottle anywhere between $70-$150. The 750ml bottle I got was around $70.

Still to this day though the best bang is Casamigos Reposado PENDING you can find one before 2017 (before the buyout). I've been lucky to find some from 2014-2016 that are delicious.
