According to the BMS instructions, the dp fix is able to be disabled all together with the arrow pointing at 11pm. However, with your version, the arrow can't reach 11pm. Could you provide a picture of the arrow pointing at the position to disable? Thanks!

Here you go. With the cables facing up the dial should be set to the 1 o'clock position. That is when the setting is set to bypass (1 ohm) on the dp fix. Hope this answers your question.

Excuse my laziness as I don't want to read instructions but explaining in real quick cliff notes, what is the main concept on how to install this? Looks like there is an electrical box under the cowl in the engine bay we connect to? Does it take any soddering or crimping wires? How long should it take to install? Could a monkey do it? I mostly compare my intellectual level to one.

Thanks mate

The install is about 30 minutes. No soldering or crimping of wires is required. The only thing you are doing is removing pins from a connector and replacing with the dp fix. Here is a link of the video

If you have any questions please let me know.
Happy new year's

I see. That looks rather simple and quick. I'll be putting in an order in the near future.

Cheers buddy.

Still working on it. I am still developing the programming. I also would need to test out on a N55 car. I am testing it on my S55 but it is not the same. Once I got my prototype done I will let you guys know.

Taz,

Is the adjustment for your potentiometer the same as described in the BMS doc, where counter-clockwise is stronger (more resistance)?

With the cables pointing away clockwise increases resistance while counter clockwise decreases. I would start at the 5 o'clock position and work my way up. Hope the images help.

Thank you. I had it at the 5 o'clock position, but was throwing 29F4 and 29F5. I increased the strength, but also realized I did not reselect the oem/catted DP option in MHD when I flashed back to stage 0. After reflashing the car and with the dial at ~8 o'clock I am currently throwing 29E0 and 29E1. Should I go back to 5 o'clock and give it another try?

Yes go back to the 5 o'clock position and clear all codes.

Got it to work. Went back to the 5 o'clock position and was still throwing 29F4 and 29F5. Adjusted it to 7 o'clock and same result. It finally completed the catalyst check at ~8:30. Thanks for the help.
