Kind of a dumb question, but I was wondering if anyone could explain something: so I'm familiar with the map switching of the jb4 and PROcede, but in the DIY section of the tune chart, there's an asterisk next to a point about on the fly map switching and that it can also be done via laptop, hardwired button, or the P3 vent gauge...
Is that an option for the PROcede? I've been planning on running the PROcede after I get everything working properly and was hoping I could use an M steering wheel and hardwire the M button to switch maps. |

If you are going to include the jb+ then you might as well throw in the SSTT as well, they're both a joke of a tune compared to the others imo.

Always read up on the forums, never actually contributed, but have to say, that this post is amazing. Can definitely tell a lot of work was put into it. Having had my 08 335xi for 3 years now, I am finally thinking about adding a piggyback all thanks to this thread. Great work!

plus 1 for the new open tablet and the open source tune. Or a perhaps a separate page for 'flash tunes', as my understanding is they are the same (different methods of loading the tune but all are flashing the stock hardware) so perhaps a comparison of the 'maps' would be more relevant

And the other crap overpriced AFE Scorcher, basically $500 for what a used SSTT will do for $100 or the same price as a good tune!

Wait, so are you telling me that JB4 does not deactivate the top speed limiter? I'll still only be able to go 135?!

Maybe start a thread asking how many N54 Snails have been blown by a Jb4 without the right Aftermatket setup- intercooler, oil cooler and the list goes on. That's why most ppl don't push the JB4 unless they got there engine covered. So pls don't dis Piggybacks bc they were the first on the market for 335i's. |

Yes the SSTT is way way overpriced but it came with my car so great freebie until I save up for 3 parts. I never knew why, or I heard BMW supported the SSTT? Anyway who cares. We all know the JB4 or COBB, are the best money can offer as long as you protect your car with aftermarket parts. |

This is great! But surprised to hear that JB4 doesn't remove speed delimiter.
