I'm looking into ordering an aero lip for my Alpine White 335 on order. I was wondering if some members who bought theirs pre-painted could tell me how the color match was. I'm not sure whether I should buy it pre-painted or get it unpainted and take it somewhere to color match. I'd love to hear some feedback. Thanks alot!

I even compared it with painted side reflectors which I bought through another sponser and I can see the slight difference. I'm going to see if I can post a picture that can illustrate what i'm talking about. But otherwise Tischer was awesome to deal with. |

***Latest UPDATE, paid and waiting for help***
Alpine White...2 Jet Black...1 Black Sapphire...1 Montego Blue...0 (but some serious interest a'brewin') All other colors...0 As for the color match...the body shop has been painting them to spec via your oem paint code. Most of the feedback we've recieved has indicated a perfect match. A few factors that could result in your new lip being a hair brighter are: -The lip has no polish, wax, sealant on it. -The lip has not been exposed to the sun or weather like your vehicle has. -Washing, waxing, polishing, or driving your vehicle can easily change the hue of your paint. My advice would be to strip your current wax/polish (assuming you do take care of your paint) using dawn and start over w/ new coats on both your vehicle and lip.

I hope someone sees this.
I am trying to purchase a lip with the pickup option. From what I have been told the only way to get the special pricing is to purchase it online. But in order to purchase it online it requres a shipping address. I am not sure what the correct process is to get the discount and pick it up at the dealer. Has anyone done a pickup before? Any help would be greatly apprecaited. The only reason I am asking now is because i am planning to go on a trip tomorrow and the dealer is around the area. |
