This has already been answered - it will be an option during MHD flashing

He wanted to know if it would be a simple on/off checkbox or a slider (like wastegate rattlefix) that can be adjusted for preference.

I anticipate that it will be a checkbox if the tables are being modified to precisely mirror the method used in N55 PPK.

I sent him a PM.
I sent donation.
I sent him an email@motiv.
I'm this close to sending a midget with a telegram.

I can't get him to reply to me at all.
Fuck my life and these first world problems.

It's frustrating. I'm with you. It seems 3000gt and pats actually know Jake. Maybe that's what we need to do. Fly up and buy him a beer.
He's generally a pretty busy man. Jake and i work together on this type of stuff daily. Usually when the weather is bad there or he needs a guinea pig i help him out. Then i mess around with different things until we both get the results we were looking for.

Pats is a long time Motiv customer and lives pretty close IIRC.

Last i heard there will be a few sliders to get the results your looking for. I'll let him answer that. Thats Jake and Martials thing.

I agree. God bless him he's busy.
I'm excited to see his work come to fruition. Thanks for testing it for him.

I know the sound you're thinking of. This will do it even after car is up to temp & it will be throughout a wider rpm range.

Just to confirm... The pops here are happening with ZERO throttle input on decel? So whenever you let off it makes this sound? Mine does sound like this when I feather the trottle although a little more gurggley and less poppy.

Am I correct?

Zero throttle input, yes. That is the whole point of this

Didn't know this was such a big deal. My 335is has done this from day one. Can't the tables just be copied over or is that not possible?

I've looked at the values in the IS bins. I am giving even more flexibility on top of that. Most likely an MHD slider for duration time, and one for aggressiveness.

You will be able to make your IS much more aggressive, and increase duration if you'd like.

From my understanding the tabLES gotta be discovered first the interpreted in some way as to what they do or control. Is not like there is a table that's labeled "exhaust burrbles edit here" lol

I'm sure it's all in german as well, then they have to make diff rom version Ijeos, IO8,,etc etc

i'm assuming a check option would edit that part of the table and sliders would be way more complicated either way can't wait.

I'm well aware of what Jake has to do when it comes to table discovery. Isolating the different/extra tables from a IS or PPK bin has been done for a while I believe, not sure about the mapping of them though. Regardless, I didn't realize this was such a big deal. It's great for all you guys that really want this. I'm just more interested in what my car sounds like on the gas, not off it.

I can name at least 5-7 other projects hes working on at this moment to improve the platform performance wise. Its very nice of him to step away from the performance side and do little touches like this. It wasn't just a single little table. We tried about 6-8 tables before he found the right ones. Its a German DME theres nothing that says "exhaust gargle" deciphering their text is only half the battle. Then he has to go and do it for 4 other SW versions with 4 different locations. Something that seems very easy is actually very difficult and i'll be 100% honest i had no idea what it actually took until i started doing a lot of testing for him. Its a thankless job more or less. I dont make a penny off anything but i will thank you for your donation. That goes a long way with him trust me. Just be on the look out for new and upcoming features, it'll make every penny worth its weight in gold, believe me.

BTW i am in no way calling you out, its really just a general statement

Not saying it's not important to the next guy, just not me and it's just my opinion, nothing more. I could care less if my car had it or not. But for the guys that do care it's apparently a Godsend. I just didn't know the community had such a pent up desire for exhaust burbles being my only point in my first post.

Jake said "Let there be burbles", and there were burbles.
