請問有冇師兄幫幫我

小弟想買架易手335i,但對BMW沒有太大認識,所以想請問各位:

1) 2007年製 多唔多野壞,是否壞電子嘢多?例如有甚麽電子嘢壞呢??維修貴嗎??
2) 2008年打後製嘅,請問係唔係facelift咗?? 係邊個月份 facelift ??
是否由twin turbo 改行單 turbo ??
是否波箱都唔同咗 ??
3) Facelift咗嘅版本同前期版最大分別喺咩呢??

Please specify you're looking for E90 or E92.
The answers for E92:

1) Hard to tell.

2) 2009 335i have Dual Clutch Tranmission (DCT)
LCI (facelift) are all 2011 models.
LCI are designated with N55 engine (previously is the N54 engine) and turbocharged by a single twin-scroll turbocharger. BMW claims the new engine is more fuel efficient.

3) The most obvious difference is the bright white Angel Eye on the head light and the new design of the tail light with two thick illuminated tubes that blend with the character lines from the side profile.

N55 won't have N54 fuel pump issues.

Yap, seriously, even though I was blaming my BMW sales not telling me the release of 335i when I inked on my 330i order 4 years ago, but sometime I am also telling myself he may have done something good to me

Who drives 335i with no major engine mod actually have HPFP failure in HK?
I'm interested to know. This problem doesn't seem to be as common as US 335i owners.
I suspect it's due to the lower quality fuel grade available in US.

It relates to a few things like the pump itself, the software on the injection timing control, as well as perhaps the gas quality like BimmerJack mentioned.

Surely it is not happening to ALL N54 owners, but it is an known issue that has been proven a fault that BMW has to correct in the design. It is still not saying that you will surely get this problem when you get a N54, but there is a possibility. To be fair, different issues for different brands/models.

For DCT, it is the later Double Clutch technology which is supposed to be more responsive on gear shifting, no matter you are in D (automatic) mode, S (sport) mode or M (+/-) mode. Also, DCT comes with 7 gears (newer DCT for 5GT and F10 got the 8th gear, i may be wrong on the car model though, bad memory for an old man like me), gas consumption is supposed to be better than the old 6 gear non DCT.

If you really care about the performance and responsiveness on the road, defintely DCT is something to target for. However, as you should already know, DCT is only available in E92/93 in the HK market, unless you really target one from parallel import.

P.S>hope you also allow responses in English, not because my English is better but it is definitely easier and faster to type
