Do a little searching on here and you will find the gap that works best for you. I think it will be about .020 or .022 but like I said, search.

Hey guys, first post , not new to modifying cars, but new to the MHD and tuned n55 scene. Picked up a 2011 e92 335i a couple months ago with 63k miles.
I've done all new fluids, spark plugs, before doing anything. I now have a BMS intake, vrsf charge pipe, and a 5" stepped FMIC. Thoughts on this log? https://datazap.me/u/krisunfiltered/...77&zoom=41-130 Last edited by kriswithak; 10-18-2019 at 12:57 AM.. |

Good morning! I am still getting a 29E0 and 29E1 Mixture Control Codes. Would you guys mind checking out this log i just pulled? Thank guys!
2008 n54 335i, Stock except Dual cone intake. Just replaced vacuum lines, spark plugs, and leaking boost control solenoids. https://datazap.me/u/bigj/101819-3rd...og=0&data=3-24 I am new to this but does it look like my throttle position fluctuates a lot while at wide open throttle? **I made a second log and it looks like my throttle position is everywhere on it too. I am pretty sure it should be at 81 when at WOT. does that sound correct? https://datazap.me/u/bigj/101819-3rd...og=0&data=3-24 Last edited by DTOAST3; 10-18-2019 at 11:28 AM.. |

If you think you have a leaky injector, fix it right now, ASAP. Do not keep running this way. It's not just about minor driveabiliity issues. The excess fuel can dilute the oil, leading to more serious problems |

Let your car sit overnight, pull each spark plug and if they look wet and smell of fuel then you have a leaky injector.

What you guys think? 08 n54 stock except DCI. Looks like my stft are still high even after replacing everything except for the engine. I also just reset the adaptations.

First time posting a log, hopefully this works... there are two logs on the link I am working on getting this car tuned and am having some issues. My Tuner says the WGDC after PID is a bit low , and in one log I have some timing corrections on Cyl one. Im going to replace or swap that coil to see if it moves. Do you guys have any more suggestions for me. Mods- VTT GC lite 2.0 turbos, relocated inlets, catless DP, high flow secondary cats, Stg 2 LPFP, 7 inch vrsf intercooler, charge pipe with tial BOV. 2 step colder plugs Car 07 e90 335i auto |

Help

I've had new HPFP, LPFP, injectors, coil and sparks but the moment I try to boost the car, it stutters and if i go any further, it starts to misfire at random cylinders. What is the issue here? No matter MHD Stage 1/2 tune, I experience the same issue. 2008 N54 335i DCT ![]() |

Timing corrections can sometimes be due to the map being to aggressive for the fuel octane. I would try the 91 oct map first and see if that clears up the corrections or alternatively try running a bit of E85 with the current 93 oct map.

Hi! I have replaced vacuum lines, boost solenoids, spark plugs, rotated bank 1 and 2 coil packs(didn't change anything), and i also puled the spark plugs to smell for fuel in case of injector leakage(found nothing). I also reset adaptations using INPA. Currently there are no more leaks being detected when performing the smoke test.

Get the car to operating temperature Start log at idle for 30 seconds Increase idle speed to 1500rpm and hold for 30 seconds Increase idle speed to 2500rpm and hold for 30 seconds Let off gas pedal and let idle for 30 seconds Stop log Log both STFT and LTFT for both banks Have you cleaned/inspected the MAP sensor? (one on the intake manifold) Next thing to replace would be both pre-cat 02 sensors and re-log If nothing changes its time for a new set of injectors. Leaking injectors wont cause lean fuel trims but if the injectors are dirty/clogged they will.

I see there are 2 map sensors. I have cleaned the one on the manifold. Can the map sensor on the charge pipe also cause a lean condition? Can i monitor the injectors using INPA and see of something seems off? https://datazap.me/u/bigj/102919-idl...og=0&data=3-24 Last edited by DTOAST3; 10-29-2019 at 03:54 PM.. |
