Well it sure is pretty. I'm just now coming around to blue cars and I think those deeper blues look really sharp.

I unplugged the battery tender. I don't leave it on constantly, just let the light turn green, unplug, then do it again. If my car had feelings, she'd wonder why she's been confined to a dark garage all her life. Veal comes to mind.

Finally got rid of my runFATS and bought me some PSS's all the way around, what a difference in how my car feels.

I was hating and dreading those crappy runSPLATS and couldn't wait to dump em, finally after taking the Mrs. for a spin she realized just how crappy they really were and went along with (my nice way of saying "AUTHORIZED") the purchase.

Car takes off faster due to grip (as most of you with them already know), it feels stable and able to take corners faster and feels flatter in the curves doing so.

It's as though these are the tires that should've come stock on our cars.

What are your experiences with the PSS's??

Got it back from the dealership with a new oil pan and took a nice drive. Glad to have her back.

Took the car in for one of those free Spring service clinics. Clean bill of health!

77,000 miles, and all they suggested was to monitor the oil filter housing gasket. They found my hose clamp I dropped a while ago too

Also, I got this dope BMW mug that darn near matches the color of my car.

Replaced BMW base audio speakers with Musicar NW Level two speakers & amp upgrade.
JL600/6 v2, Jehnert underseats & Morel Vitrus 2 way kit in front doors. What a compliment to the Dynavin N6 I installed several weeks ago

Just brought home my first BMW!

Just want to introduce myself. Yesterday I brought home my first BMW... a 2011 335i with 18,500 miles on the odo and the sport package (love the seats) and iDrive. 5 years old or not, this thing looks brand new. FL car all its life and FULL of power.

Looks like the forum is full of great information and I'm sure it'll be a huge resource for me throughout my time with the car.

Check it out!

Installed Eibach Pro Springs I had shipped over from Germany as they don't sell them for X-drive e91's here in North America and paired them up with the matching Koni FSD's they match with the Eibach's in Europe.

PN's E10-20-14-10-22 & Koni 2100-4123

Car has not yet settled, but handling is improved and it no longer feels like I need an organ transplant after hitting expansion joints and potholes.

X-Drive rake issue solved

Yes, running this one, worked great for my wheel hop. Stabilized the back end under acceleration pretty well, specially on these lovely Ohio roads

Purchased the car on Tuesday. Spent all day yesterday in the car putting it through its paces... blew the charge pipe at its seams by the coupler. Its getting fixed for free and I'm having BMW do a full sweep of the car afterwords.

Dammit.

Get rid of that plastic charge pipe asap and get urself a nice metal aftermarket one with a blow off valve (BOV) and a MHD or JB4 tune... then dial up the fun to 11

I was just reading up on the aftermarket charge pipes. I'm not opposed to it, I was just hoping to wait as long as possible before modding the car. A JB4 is definitely going to happen, but I want to ride out the stock power as long as possible.

Why? You'll regret that decision the instant you end up tuning

Finished detailing the interior of the new to me 2011 335i with 51k miles. Also completed the update of the Nav system to the 2016 update.. it was sitting at 2011 maps! Also replaced the USB port in the glove box, probably explains why the stealer had never updated it.

Already had the usual service performed as part of the trade it process it had gone through, but confirmed it had a new air filter, cabin filter along with actual fresh oil. (Good thing the fill cap is so large)

Waiting on:

Front belly kit
Right belly cover and parts
Full front clear bra package
Some maintenance items
Drivers door seal the PO managed to chew up a little on the bottom

Then it's time to get it out there and put some miles on the lousy runflats.. so I can justify to the wife the need for new tires... PSS's of course.

And yeah, new on this board... I still have an e46 M3 track/street car as well so I am usually on M3Forum

Put the Direzza Z11 Star Spec's back on the car and tossed the winter tires back in the garage.

On the new Eibach's and FSD's the difference is quite astonishing.

Amazing what a really good sidewall design can do for handling.

Me trying to be a "home mechanic", I screwed up a simple spark plug change. Car was misfiring before, so I bought new plugs and coils and installed them. Car wouldn't start. Put in old coils, car started but now is misfiring on cylinder 1 and 5...violently. I'm not sure what is going on, and it would have been cheaper to just get the shop to do it...but now I'll have to somehow get the car to the shop so it can be fixed...

Last time I will DIY on this BMW.
