Replaced the cabin filter, cut out the charcoal filter, put in a K&N drop-in filter.

Getting rid of the charcoal filter and adding a k&n drop in filter was a nice change for the motor. You should notice a better sound and a bit more throttle response. Enjoy

Installed LUX H8 Angel Eyes. Gorgeous. But man, those bulb compartments are tight. Good lord.

Garage List
2010 BMW 335d  [0.00]
Just finished wiring up my USB/AUX iPod inputs from the console compartment to my KUDA mount with a 30-pin to lightning cable (Apple), a USB extension cable, and an audio extension cable. Added a micro USB cable to charge my android torque display in the sunglasses area, and left one additional lightning charging cable in console compartment for my work phone or passengers.

No drilling, cutting, or splicing, and no visible cables except what is plugged into the connectors. Phone connects via BT, and iPod controls work + charges the phone.

The cradle was originally for my S4 - I swapped out the connectors, added some rubber bumpers at the bottom, and with the case on my iPhone 6, it happens to fit perfectly.

In terms of the car, spent about 6hrs cleaning, detailing and waxing every nook and cranny after I picked it up from my exhaust guy (got the muffler delete finished up for $30 out the door, what a beautiful sound now...) and then did the charcoal delete, to aid with the K&N drop-in filter I already had in it. Proud of my work, I came back out a few hours later, to find the car is COMPLETELY covered in pollen already. FML... I need a garage.

On a side note, also officially joined the forum after having been lurking since I got my 2007 328xi recently, and just made my first post Already this site has been an AWESOME plethora of information, looking forward to learning and contributing as much as I can!

Since she' sin the garage like a veal calf, I took her out in the wet and slammed on the brakes. ABS still good, no errors after the dsc hydro pump rebuild......dag she's way better to drive than the '16 328 loaner.

Haha to be fair, it wouldn't let me post a "new" thread I guess until I make a certain number of posts and wait x amount of time, but as soon as I get the green light, I'll be starting an intro/build thread ASAP. As for pics:

Current state, albeit covered in pollen...:

My exhaust guy didn't have much left for dual tips left so I went with the single and its kinda grown on me:

Simple muffler delete:

Didn't take pics of charcoal delete/k&n since I figured it was pretty common, and my engine bay still needs some serious cleaning, so I'm too embarrassed to show it lol.

Put some 10mm spacers up front to get rid of some wheel gap. Cleaned up the gold plasti dip on the lugs from the previous life. Cleaned the little rust off the hub. Looks a lot better however subtle it is. Also put my front plate on so rectify a fix it I got. Car = Ruined. Sad times.

Drove down to Santa Cruz on the 1 today for lunch and a walk with the dogs on the beach. Used the manual mode for the first time, much fun. High revs and high speeds were my friends today. My black bimma smiled back at me.

JBwelded the plastic mounting tab for the third brake light since it decided to just fall off the rear windshield.

Looking nice bro. How much HP does the gourd pull in? I'd think you'd need one on each side to balance things out, but then again, I'm no gourd power expert
