I called the place and they are quoting around 700 to 800, doesnt seem like they do the job much because the place that normally does the repair work on my cars is charging 475. I may end up taking it there. I was hoping to save a few bucks by calling around.

I am going to take it to Bimmers Only in Carrollton.

If you drive a lowered (coilovers?) white 335d and were in Arlington on I-20 about where it crosses the 287 today 06/20 at about 4:40 PM:

I'd be interested in finding out what suspension you had, and tires and spacers. You looked like the tires were wider, and you had coilovers I'm fairly sure.

I'm looking for a good suspension mod. Fill me in !!

Anyone know of a shop in NM/TX/OK/LA/AR which does what BPC in Raleigh does, at least ALMOST as well?

I want to get my 335d ECU-tuned/ABC-deleted but would rather find a shop closer to DFW than Raleigh is.

I haven't seen any indication that there is a good one closer, just wanting to tap into the community here to see if I have missed someone.

Probably an odd request, but what performance options does the N51 SULEV have? Nothing agressive; the car will not be tracked. Looking for some extrat SOTP performance. Any help would be appreciated.

Anybody got that ludicrously priced N54 front main seal puller/install kit that would be willing to loan it out for a not-too-unreasonable number of beers?

Walnut blasting: I was thinking of just biting it and buying the stuff for it myself. I've got shop air available, so figure I can get away with doing it for under $700 all said and done anyway.

I live about 60 seconds away from Import Car Center; those guys have never struck me as particularly friendly, nor particularly willing to cut a deal. I don't know who in there would offer to do it for under $500, but I imagine I haven't run into them yet. Heard good things about Bimmers Only, though -- how'd that end up working out?

Last q: anyone else here a Dallas Makerspace member?
