Yes it was! Overall, I am happy enough with the result...
And that's all that truly matters. Someone got a heck of a deal. Congrats to you and to the new owner!

Could have been much worse given the current situation! In fact, I set my reserve at a mere $13k as that was the bare minimum without things being a complete wash.

I even had nightmares about showing up at the stealership only to grovel for the $9k I was originally offered. HA! Market correction in full effect.

Dude is flying up to retrieve the car on Saturday. At this point, I'm wondering if my stealership will be closed for business by the time my new car arrives...

I'm always in the minority, and I'm more than ok with that, but I love tan interiors. I guess it's good for me as there is less demand for them. But the black exterior on this one is a deal breaker.

Tan is usually ok, my first E36 was black on tan. For whatever reason, I'm not a fan of it on E9X cars. I can't get away from black cars though... that particular deal breaker somehow never applies to color for me. RWD, 6MT, M Sport - GREAT, Black - fine I guess I'll still buy it

I spoke with the seller on that one weeks ago...Oz...hes a nice guy. Has an R8 and some other nice toys. Was his wife's car and its pretty mint. I just couldnt get over the abundance of tan all over. Wish at least the carpeting was black but its just too much tan. He loved it and was trying to sell me that you dont fully appreciate the contrast until you're sitting in it.

I'm sure he's starting to realize he's the minority in that position now that it's been weeks and he is still sitting on it. It appears to be in great shape and cared for by an enthusiast. Also comes with a nice set of mint 260M wheels.

I imagine it will be pretty quiet in here for a bit. Matches my current mood.

Just went out and pulled the plates off of "Mr. Grey" and prepared for shipment. A truck should be arriving today to take him away...

Wrapping the wood trim with Black 3M Carbon vinyl REALLY helps the tan interior. Not having the wood actually changes the hue of the tan and makes the whole interior feel more modern.

I haven't been on this thread in awhile. Didn't know it turned ignorant with racist comments.

Can't cure ignorance.

Melbourne Red, Mediterranean Blue, Sunset Orange, Estoril Blue are the main ones we're after. Now throw on Msport pkg, Exec pkg, Prem pkg, and Track Handling pkg. It would be nice to have access to Sickfinga's database to see how many of these were actually imported. I found one, an MR one, but it had almost 50k miles and was in LA. There's another nicely optioned out one like this right now, but it is in this nasty Individual brown color at a dealer in New England asking a small fortune for it -- no thanks.

Just recently added an f31 to the fleet last month, Melbourne red M-Sport 330i. Per sickfinga it’s 1 of 13. So that should help you. We were between estoril blue And Melbourne red.
