Golden Auto Muffler, ask for Mike. He can fulfill all of your muffler/exhaust welding needs.
do you think he would be able to do a custom rear section (i.e. just muffler and twin tips) for a non-turbo e90?

of course. If you plan to head down there, just PM me a time and date so I can keep him posted.

Have you thought about just buying an exhaust? I'll find some pics, hold on.

Hey Rob, I had my Ikon installed at their shop. They do pretty decent work and they can do a custom section for you. They're on 2nd and Folsom i believe.

i have. but not all that thrilled about the options. eisenmann is insanely over priced for what it is. the ikon seems to be a good option, but i don't like how the can hangs down so low (i would need to paint it black). not crazy about either one of their tips as they're not double walled. i'm a fan of supersprint, but again pretty expensive and looks like you would need to buy the full system from cat back.

also just trying to keep costs down. if it's not cost effective, i would probably just go with one of the pre-made exhausts.

anyway, i'll let you know. i'm debating between a couple things right now... koni shocks, possibly a new front lip, and exhaust. i'm still leaning towards the koni's more. i'd like to tighten up the suspension.

I'd lean towards completing your suspension setup as well.

I only have the price for the Cat-back, but I'll get back to you on the price of the rear section ASAP.
