Not cool! I remember the car.

On a similar note, I still want to build a pre-LCI M3 conversion in red if you ever want to part with your high miler!

That's was me and a few others. I already saw that and checked it out. Unfortunately, this car is very poorly configured as it is missing what is almost impossible to miss when hunting for an F31 -- heated seats, comfort access, LED headlights among others. Those are so common that it's hard to understand how this car got ordered without them.

I can understand not equipping heated seats if yo'u're in an area that doesnt' get cold but who orders an Individual car with Halogen headlights on a 4cyl car? Not like you're trying to have a lighter car for the track :facepalm

We had a couple stripper E46 M3s that were ordered at the dealership I worked for at the time and one in particular I recall was Carbon Black paint + M Texture (no cost) + 19" wheels + Xenon. Now that is how you order a stripper build!

On a side note, does anyone genuinely like the color? I'm torn with these flat grays. It looks unique but at the same time it looks like someone clear coated primer.

Yep, a lot of interesting comments about it, such as a $5k color option charge but few other upgrades as you mentioned.

I had a BMW individual color "Grauschwarz" on an F30 335i and it was cool - they definitely look better in person than in photos. Had a lot of compliments on it...and it felt like a car with multiple personalities, as it was battleship grey in the sun and almost black at night.

I can tell you that after having the paint corrected to remove micro swirls, BMW individual paint coats are very thin when applied at the factory...my detailer told me that you basically have one shot to correct the paint as it is so thin. I had a tanzanite blue F80 a few years later...vowed that I would never get another individual color again as they're just tough to detail and touch up.

Grauschwarz literally translates to Gray Black, good to know the color actually is as described

Gotta pay to play on BaT. Be patient and persistent on the forums, autotempest, etc. search - solid examples still pop up as people look to move towards newer cars.

Sorry if redundant...just came across this one in TN: RWD, 6MT, sport package, bluewater with oyster...some wear but not bad. Price seems competitive considering this would probably go for 17-18 on BaT.

Nice car. Biggest must for me is black interior though.

If anyone cares, this is what I'm after:
Any ext. color besides white
Black interior
Sport package
AWD
Xenon
No iDrive preferred
6mt preferred
HK preferred
Rear shade preferred
Silver trim preferred
Under 100k miles preferred

It looks like a nice car, don't get me wrong. Just a bit surprised given the state of affairs in the world and other examples that have sold recently. I'm a big Space Gray fan personally.

Stick to your guns, if you compromise, you'll kick yourself when you see a car in the spec you want pop up for sale down the road. FWIW, the interior trim is a really straight forward swap if you end up with wood.

Bumping this. Let me know of any interest before I run her on BAT. Based on the xdrive auto tranny selling at $16,750 plus BAT fees, I guess mine is a bargain at $20k

I'm the second owner. I purchased it from a BMW dealership about 6 months ago. I was going to convert it to M-sport and 1) don't want to go deeper into it as I already paid top dollar for it, an 2) oddly enough, I think the car is worth more as it left the factory.

It has 65,xxx miles on it. I believe it had 61,xxx when I bought it. I will pull all the details when I create the listing.

It is 100% OEM and 99% factory as I installed a new OEM M-Sport steering wheel / sport airbag and a mint used set of the brushed steel trim out of the e90 M3. The car will come with the original mint non-sport steering wheel and airbag as well as the original wood trim (gross).

The car has had no paint or body work other than the bumpers being resprayed by the BMW dealer where I purchased it.

I had 3 minor dings PDR'd by the guy who does Princeton BMW's cars. There are a few very minor chips on front end and one small chip on the passenger side front door. The passenger side rear door has a scrape on the bottom that I feel a good wet sand could improve if not completely remediate - my detailer doesn't do wet sanding unfortunately.

I figured I'd post it here to see if I can get a quick and easy sale at a fair non-BAT price, in exchange for not paying for professional detail and professional photos. If that is not successful, I will plan to go that route.

Looking for offers in the $20k range.

I see the sport steering wheel but not the sport seats, and I have seen that on a few cars. Any reason for that combo?

I installed the Msport wheel amd airbag, as well as the aluminum trim. I mentioned that in my ad.

I’ve been trying to source euro Alcantara manual sport seats from Europe. There are several sets on eBay but no one willing to ship to the US yet...

If I got those I’d probably buy the new Oem m sport bumpers, install the minty 19 inch BBS CH in my garage and keep her.

Having a hard time finding the Oem parts I want without spending a fortune is the reason for the sale. I don’t want to have $30k into this one, and I’ve been known to do stupid things with car builds!!

Schmiedmann has tons of E9x, E91 Euro parts/interiors/etc, (link is LCI E91) on an on-going basis being parted, and they ship worldwide. Redshift has recently bought a ton of stuff from them for his N57 6MT E91 build (see build thread in N57 section). Here is the link to pre-LCI E91s.
