I hate machines...have a bunch in the basement so gave them a shot...ended up really hurting my back twice lifting less than I would with dumb/bar bells...mind you I lifted heavy and played rugby without any injuries...when I was at my peak running last year I starting free weights again and was fine. As soon as I added flypress on the machine...tweaked something in my mid back on my next days run...

yeah i don't tweak stuff usually but i get sore VERY easily so days (like today) after I lift moderately hard my runs suck.

Yea...I always have to take the run after easy...but being with freeweights I was always able to manage it and even have 2hr rugby practice the day after without anything more than your usual soreness from getting the shit kicked out of you...but as soon as I introduce 1 machine lift into my routine the next day I tweak my back within the first mile of a light run...so I'm done with em

i usually go with kettel bells.

Sometimes I'll go no weights on the black side of a bosu.

My GF had a similar body when she was a point guard for IIT women's basketball team. Since then the 6-pack has disappeared a bit but still amazing body!
