Installed this today. Picked it up from a member here for a great deal. I'm excited to see the power difference.

I will have to wait to test it out, it's raining and I just waxed her and don't want to get her dirty lol

K&N worked for me

I installed the k&n performance air filter today and did a lot of research before hand on this forum and many others as well. Along the way I discovered that k&n is the exact same filter that BMW uses in their own performance air intakes. I thought, why spend $800 for an entire new intake which includes the same filter when I can put one in my stock intake for $55? So I did. Note: I left the charcoal filter in place just as recommended when you install a BMW performance intake. For me, I notice a lot more throttle response when taking off. Also, there is a slightly deeper engine sound. I think I got the same affects as those who spent $800+ for the bmw performance intake. And I'll never have to buy another air filter again. Happy.

A little dawn dish soap some water and a toothbrush! Don't be afraid to scrub pretty good. The thread can take it.

I stupidly broke one of the 3 tabs for the wiring loom though...Gorilla glued it back and it's strong, in place! A new one is like $80 so not the end of the world but still don't need a new one...
