No! That is the worst way. The reason BMW leases are great is because the residual is set so high by BMW, therefore you are only paying on a subsidized depreciation, i.e. BMW artificially inflates the value of the car to make leasing attractive. If you buy at the end, then you are paying that artificial inflation.

Leon, it's not about the monthly payment, it's about how much you are paying in total.

Slubu, there are certain cases where it makes a lot of sense to lease. No one can beat factory specials btw.

you gotta do a lot of math, not the math the CA does in front of you. math you do with your own formulas (google lease and purchase formulas) on your own spreadsheet
