It just depends on how fast you want to lose, but I'm telling you from experience that eliminating things like potatoes helped me a lot in the early stages of weight loss, when I was trying to shed the pounds rapidly...

I guess the pounds I'm trying to shed will not come off rapidly.

since my stomach pouch is so big, I simply cannot just cut out everything I like.

slowly but surely i'll start eating small portions of really healthy stuff when my stomach gets used to having less food....

because trust me, I can throw it down at the kitchen table.....

this is dinner - I had to choose one HAHA !!!!

you probably wanna be careful with those cornflakes. the starch in them breaks down fast so they make your blood glucose spike like straight up sugar.

Some of my signature 'fall off the bone / slap yo Mama' ribs...

The key is the OJ & herb infused marinade.

Mother in law in town for the holidays and she definitely knows how to throw it down in the kitchen with homemade Tamales and her signature Salsa!

You already know!!!

It is a battle to stay in shape around here. My lovely wife is also quite skilled in the kitchen: Homemade enchiladas, caldo de res, asado de puerco, tostadas, and heaping helpings of guacamole and queso... And let's not forget plenty of tacos de calle!
No wonder the gym is my home away from home.

I'll have to contribute more to this thread.

Looks fire, and for a cheat meal it's pretty healthy.
