I'm not aware of the 135's speed limiter, but for the 335's with sport package & 18" wheels the speed limiter is 155 mph, but without the sport package the speed limiter is 130 mph. The JB4 is the only tune which does not remove the speed limiter. However, you can buy the SDL wire from the BMS website, along with the JB4 and USB cable, which will remove the speed limiter!

Most of us reach 220kph on a good straight road...no need to go faster IMHO but if ur itching for, go to an Indy shop. 5 mins and your sorted. BB |

Removed Dinan 2 tune and lower Oil temps?
I am going to be running the JZW tune and had my Dinan 2 tune removed (bought with the car) First time i drove it stock. Its noticeably slower after 2500-4k RPM dont notice much off the line. I am guessing 40-50HP less and 100ish LB torque down. Not as much as I would have thought in a dinan 2 tune.
I did notice that the Oil temp was staying about 10-15F cooler. I suspect this may just be calibration of the gauge?? I did not plug in my obd2 scanner to see the coolant temp. I thought that was a big selling point of the Dinan tune that it ran the water pump faster.... so very strange to see lower Oil temp. JZW goes on this weekend with a VRSF 7" IC. Waiting for next smog check before the VRSF DP goes on. Also plan to go to a E85 uprated LPFP and run E50 maybe E75 for full power. John has some great numbers and I prefer idea of a true flash than piggy back. |

hi guys,
I have an e90 2008 335. A year ago, I had transmission faulty error and I had to get my transmission redone. Since then, the car has been driving pretty fine. I love it to be honest. There's one issue I have (not sure if it's an issue or not): When it shifts from 3rd to 4th at low rpms, I feel a slight jerk. Now, that I've taken the car to the limits over last year or so, I want to take it to the next level. A tune perhaps. Do you think, this would its a risk considering the above mentioned issue (not sure if it really is an issue as i havent driven another 335 e90) with transmission? Any piece of advice will be appreciated... Thanks in advance. Cheers. |

Here's a stupid question: I have dci, down pipes, intercooler. Will jb4 give me more hp than cobb? Or will it be the same? I'm thinking of switching from cobb to jb4 G5.. Any thoughts or suggestions?

No, I'm using an ots map. Stage 1+, gonna go stage two+ after the dp install. But mod for mod, would I make more power with jb4 or cobb? And is a pro tune really worth it?

I would say jb4 is stronger with those mods. A pro tune in my opinion is worth it, if you are FBO running high E85.

I'm not going to run e85. Just fbo and 91. I want the car and engine to last a long time. How much is a pro tune?
