Going back to COBB for my JB4 dyno run tomorrow afternoon. I will post results when I get home.

say what you will about the results- how great is it that they are giving away dyno pulls!

After installing my DP's I can hear my wastegate rattle like crazy during cold starts

It gets better after the engine warms up but I'm going to try the Mr. 5 fix and see if it works...

Cliffs. Loosen 10mm nut on the rod. Need 4mm wrench to turn the rod (1-2 rotations) to tighten it back up. Then tighten 10mm nut back. I have to check to see if I have a 4mm wrench or not...else I will be making a trip to Harbor Freight.

I still need to get some oil for an oil change...no specials right now

I just got my oil delivered. I broke down and got the OEM oil change kit + filter. Let me know when you're ready to do it. I'm all set

ETS was really nice to me... Their updated 5" intercooler and charge pipe package are on the way. The FMIC will be hard anodized black and the charge pipe and couplers are black as well for a stealth install.

I've got an open slot on the new Helix intercooler group buy for $799 if someone would like to take my place. I can send them a PM to swap names and the only need a $75 deposit to hold your place. Let me know if anyone is interested... the Helix design is really good and shouldn't require trimming.

I'll probably wait on Cobb's forthcoming staged maps but I think a set of coated iCarbon downpipes will be next.

I didn't know of any good vinyl shops around here, so I went ahead and did it myself. I also did Joe's:

here's mine

here's Joe's

I think I still have enough to do 2 more cars if you're interested in having me do it. Otherwise, I'd be happy to help if you've already got the supplies. One other thing, the window trim template I created is for the E92. I've never had a chance to wrap an E90, so I'm not sure if it would be as easy or not. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

SOOOOOO I BELIEVE MY CARS MOTOR IS OFFICIALLLLYYYY FUCKED. Started the car yesterday morning and alot of knocking while applying gas. (thought it was the downpipes) Took it to cobb and they said its something internal like rods or some shit. Just drop it off at the dealer to see how much to fix and how much trade in value. FML

Moe- I am no expert so I am not drawing any conclusions- but do YOU think the JB3 played a role in this?
