Looking to get a set of 18x9 31
And saw that it was a profile 2 setup. Was wondering if 3 shows more concave than the 2 profile.Do you have picture of profile 2 and 3 next to each other showing the concave difference

Thanks for the post! The Profile 3 is the deepest concavity offered for the EC-7. All profiles have some level of curvature around the center pad/lug hole area.

Here is a comparison between the three profiles:

Here are some photos showing Profile 2 (18x9" ET30) on the front and Profile 3 (18x9.5" ET22) on the rear:

Do you have some pics of the anthracite on a blue car...Montego, Lemans or Estoril?

I really want something other than silver on my Montego Blue now, but... some of the gunmetal/anthracite wheels I've been looking at are a shade or two too dark for my taste. I think I need Titanium.

We don't have a whole lot of photos of this combination, but here are a few that may help:

Thanks! Those look lighter in color than in most pics I've seen. I'm sure it's all about the lighting. I do like the EC-7s.

Hello,

I'm debating with myself on 2 choices for my e92 2013 335is:

EC-7 // Front: 18x9" ET31 with 235/40-18 // Rear: 18x9.5" ET22 with 245/40-18

or

Apex ARC-8 Front 19x8.5 ET35 with 235/35-19 // Rear: 19x9.5 ET33 with 265/30/19

The car is completely stock with no suspension modes and looking for primarily street use...

Between the 2 options what you will be the best choice and what issues i might be facing in reference to:
1 rubbing
2 techo accuracy

Thanks for the message!
I think the tire size you mentioned is a bit narrow for the 18x9.5" ET22. 255/35-18 tires would probably be the better choice. Because of the aggressive offset of this setup, you will likely need to roll your rear fenders to make this setup work without rubbing. 245s may let you fit the rear wheels without rubbing but the tire would be over-stretched at that point.

A more direct 18" fitment would look like this:
Front: 18x8.5" ET35 or ET38 with 235/40-18 tires
Rear: 18x9.5" ET43 with 265/35-18 tires
245/40-18 front tires can be used.
275/35-18 rear tires may require rolled fenders and/or negative camber depending on ride height.

Your other option, the 19-inch setup looks like it should fit just fine. We typically recommend 18" wheels where possible for performance but in terms of fitment and speed sensor data you should be fine!

If you'd like more info, please check out our fitment guide.

Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Thanks

-Tom

Just got the wheel installed with:
Front: 18x8.5" ET35 245/40-18 tires
Rear: 18x9.5" ET43 with 265/35-18 tires

And everything is great but there is still a bit of gap in the rear fender that I would like to try to close.

Can you suggest spacer size based on customers with a similar setup?
maybe: 12mm or less than that?

Also the 5mm spacers are safe to install considering the leftover from the hub is not much the rim to lay down?

Have enough torque to move a small town? No problem! Our EC-7 wheels look stellar AND help you put the power down.

E92 with Eibach springs and 18x9 square

The Apex fitment guide said that 18x9" square setup would work, but I was slightly nervous since I also have Eibach springs. But it all worked out perfectly with a 1 finger gap all around and no rubbing. I do have M3 control arms, so I'm running -1.5 degrees of camber up front. I'm happy, although there's a part of me that wishes I had waited (the 6+ month backorder) for the anthracite color instead.

The wheels look great! Glad to see you picked up a set. Sorry to hear about the backorder, but I think the race silver provides a nice contrast in your case. Enjoy the wheels!

Is this thread still alive? If so what’s the ETA on Flowformed ARC-8s in 17x9 ET30, Tom??

And if there are any secret stashes of EC-7 in that size let me know

Some are in stock, some aren't. I'd expect the hyper colors to be back in stock in September, the NOV eta is super conservative. Anthracite and Bronze are in stock.

We never produced the flow formed EC-7 in 17" diameter fitments so no chance of those in this size.
