VERY nice set of brakes and I will defiantly want a set, once I upgrade onto the 3L.

Very nice. How you finding the M3 then? I originally looked at the M3 after having the M5 but felt the 335i a better all rounder after driving a few of both.

You can get the paul welder exhaust mod (like the PE mod) on the OE back box.

I don't do a lot of miles so the M3 is great for me. If I was doing more miles then I would have definitely kept the 335i.

Yeah I'm definitely gonna get that, just trying to decide if I want to put different tips on or not.

Those brakes look the business Raj, and I still think the colour of those 313s is just perfection. Would love to see some full shots of the car how she sits now

For me it's more the fact the M3 needs to be really revved to get the best of it. Superb on track though. Congrats all the same though.

I think if just doing the box mod then leave the tips as is tbh. But that's just personal choice.

Thanks Seb. Yeah I love the combination and the subtlety of the Tenorite Grey. Unlike the red of the BBKs on the X5 lol.

Will get a full side shot once I finally get a chance to wash it lol.

Looking forward to it, it's a stunner! Love how subtle it is, yet looks like a whole different car at the same time. You just can't put your finger on it. Beautiful!

Appreciate the comments buddy. Yeah I like the fact that it's kind of OE looking but to those in the know they can tell it's quite different.

I've gone with the standard fast road DS2500 pads so they bite very well even from cold and as they heat up they are a lot better than OE. Slightly less pedal travel needed to get the same braking effect. But when you really press on them they stop with no fade at all from my initial driving on them. Will be a good test once on track.

So it's been a while sorting the next few bits tbh.

Few things have happened over the last few months but figured I'd group them together lol.

First off after getting the suspension all sorted to where I wanted it I booked her in for a full geo setup with the boys at Centre Gravity. I've used Chris/Pete a number of times previously and they really are superb at what they do. Their attention to detail is excellent and they really go the extra mile (BUT of course at a cost). It's not your normal just get it back to green on the screen kind of alignment. It's completely bespoke to how you want it setup for your driving style. Even if it means the spec is off what the manufacturer recommends.

Now as part of this I also decided to get a set of better quality adjustable toe arms (which Pete kindly fitted at the same time).

Just allows way more adjustment to get the toe where we wanted it and far better than the standard arm so no deflection etc.

Car just handles superbly now with less squirming under full throttle and goes rounds bends nicely with way more grip.

Next up is the completion of the Alcon install. After buying the kit and finding the amount of work needed I was a bit peeved but it's been good getting them sorted too. Kept me occupied for sure lol. So Dave finally got my custom rear bells sorted and had the rear assemblies built up and tested before finally giving the me to get the install done.

And finally installed - 4 pot calipers with 343mm discs for the rears:

So after only a year they're all finally on and I'm fully Alcon'd up LOL.

Will wash her this evening and get a full side shot.

Looks excellent. Nice work getting the toe arms, this is something i'm considering too! The brakes, well they look too sweet.

What geo set up are you running front and rear?

Cheers buddy. They do make a difference to adjustability especially when lowering too.

I'm running just under 2 degrees of camber front/rear with some extra toe in the rears too.

I'd say keep the OE brakes for when you come to selling the Alcons. Saves all the hassle and headache eh!

What brand Toe-arms are those? My set of Megans only lasted about half a track season so need to try something else.

They are Manzo and similar to Megan but use a hardened rubber bushing instead of pillowball joint etc so should hopefully last longer.

How much were the toe arms Raj? And what front and rear toe did you go for?

Ok, thanks for your response. Yes I know those arms. I need/want balljoints as the rest of the arms are such. The other arms from same supplier made it ok, only the two toe-arms that got play in them now. Hope they work out great for you and the same for the new breaks!
