Installed jb4 to run backend with MHD today, cant say i like it, more in favour of MHD standalone... jb4 makes me boost weird, throttle feel not as aggressive.

Socket what you running?

You need to fine tune the JB4. Use the Duty Bias to dial in the boost per rpm. The JB4 isn't just plug and play. Use map 6 to set your own boost curve. The throttle mapping is set up to give you a smoother less aggressive onset of boost rather than the boost bomb of running standalone.

Boost by gear and linear throttle are being tested as we speak for standalone mhd

I'm in the process of a custom tune with justin (rev 7). Wouldn't use any other tuning option.

I'm running MHD stage 2 off the shelf 98 map. Was running MHD with a JB4 but found they did not play nice together. Is much smoother with just the MHD

Yeah thats how i feel about the matter, just going to get a custom mhd tune. Don't like the concept of the jb4 and the buttons are annoying.

For N55, they've existed for awhile now for the N54.

Bit of a lookin at XHP Flashtool for 335i:

Had some install issues due to my DTM u shaped angel eyes, hence delay.

^ Car information

^ Install issue due to power safety check which was promptly fixed

^ Code reading ability

^ Installed

Currently running the Stage 3 Flash

In general my gearbox feels much smoother then Alpina, car is way more responsive, will post more feedback when allowed as beta is still in the process.

^ Also bought these to tighten wastegate:

Been having some rattling issues i wish to eliminate, rod has a bit of play, need to rotate my dump pipe to, rattles against subframe can feel it in my floor pan under load, brakes need doing, waiting to pay for my throttle body injection off Coupes33 Been abit strapt for cash hence no updates as of late, really wanted to get this CIC going!

Also going to buy an Akron tablet mount, and clean up interior, over the summer my vinyl wrap has undone in the corners of the vents, re-gluing it all back down and cleaning things up within the car.

Tested jb4 for a bit, ripped that shit out after a few days, shits crap with MHD!

Going for a custom tune with TwistedVisionz, want to fix my 30ff boost code which comes on randomly still, cant work out what it is, going to test boost solenoids.

Anyone have a spare 3.5bar map sensor btw?

Are you aware that you can't adjust the front wastegate without removing the turbos off the car?

+1 I get asked this all the time!

Front turbo actuator is in between the engine block and the engine block.

Also the reason why you get wastegate rattle isnt because of the rod being loose. Its the actual wastegate arm bushing which causes the entire arm and flapper to rattle around.

While you can probably reduce the rattle a bit by tightening up the wastegates its not solving the actual problem.

You can fix the wastegates pretty easily off the car:

But after all that labour getting them off the car most people would probably just be better off spending 2k aud for a new set of oem turbos

Im aware front cant be adjusted arm faces towards the block, the front generally doesnt come as loose as the back i presume because of exhaust especially with catless dump pipes.

Yeah my rattle is side to side rather then the rod loosing back and forth, already knew that, if only i could put something on the bit like a spacer to stop it moving in and out that would fix it or atleast reduce it.

If im replacing turbos, im going to go top mount lol.

There is no need to cut the mufflers that far towards the middle to do the pe mod fyi.

Why not just muffler delete, if you are closing the holes it's going to be straight pipe right?

Exactly. If you close off the inside pipes your just making an over complicated muffler delete.
