Trying this for my headlights tomorrow. Its the 55w kit so i soldered 2 4700uf caps together and will give it a try tomorrow.

fuck man i did this on my e90 and my error code still comes on(who gives fuck if the lights work) but they still turn off after a minute or two

Wow this is really confusing i read like 3-4 pages and seems like alot of people are confused. Would the original poster update the first post and clarify things for people. I would really help everyone. A FAQ would also be great.

The high performance bulbs kit has been very succesful for 07.
However not all pre lci 07 models are the same. Ive seen the kits work on some Pre lci and not the other. |

i just tried this 10 minutes ago and the capacitor poped and leaked some type of liquid.... dont know if this is supposed to happen. also the capacitor got quite hot!
