Paddy, I've got same spec as Viv plus blacklines...so I win! Plus I've got a microwave in the glovebox, a toaster in the armrest, and a soda stream [remember them!] in the back for the rear passengers... you obviously didn't sit in my car?

Hi again everyone. Good work all round. I have a little taster of a video too taken as we got onto the motorway on the way home. Problem is I have nowhere to post it, so if any of you can accept 10Mb of video from me by email and post it for me would be much appreciated. Its a night time vid on the motorway, with me passing viv at the end of it. PM me if you can sort it for me.

Dermot

Now lets be very clear about what I said. I actually said I was pleased to see your E90 in motion from behind because I now knew what mine looked like. Hope I didnt scare you if you got the wrong end of the stick!

I've been called a lot of things before, but never diverse!

Cheers Jay.
I thought most members wouldn't want to wait that long, so WMV'd it down to that size.
Hope it's ok as a mere taste of things to come!

Curry- a bit mild- not bl**dy surprising Pads, cos me & Paul ended up with your hot dish!

You bast*rd Paul!
I've got active steering as well, so I don't think I had to turn the wheel anymore than an inch all day!

...and where exactly was the wrong end of that stick going to go Dermot???

I've got to say I had an absolutely great day meeting everyone & enjoyed keeping FD awake on the drive back, by turning my fogs on every so often & generally blinding him with my xenons- I think his rear view mirror was permanently dimmed all the way back!

If we put our minds to it & could actually be ar*ed doing it, we could probably set-up our own dealership, using the brains, braun & persuasive talents we have between us!

Tony (cntlaw- Hong Kong meet organiser) has congratulated us on a great meet.
Any chance of flying us over there for their next meet Dermot??!!!

All the best.

Viv

Without Broadband, I'm not seeing, I'm not seeing.

Good meet, folks. Looking forward to the next. I love it when a plans comes together.

Since this one took six months to organize, maybe we should start planning now; collect some ideas.

Cheers,
Floyd

Sorry Floyd.
The pics are a waste unless we upload them at higher resolutions without too much JPEG compression, but unfortunately that makes the files sizes much bigger & makes them load slowly on dial-up.

Get yourself broadband Floyd- it'll be worth it!

It was an honour to meet yourself & Mickey, by the way.

I'm looking forward to having another meet again soon.

All the best.

Might need a couple of stops to do that. What's the range of the Embraer like? 1500 miles with a half load?

Hahaha!
Relax Paul!
I'm waiting for the raw video data from Richard.
I'll post that to you as soon as I get it ok!

Only problem is I'm away from tomorrow till Saturday.
If I can, I'll get Richard to post the raw data DVD straight to you ok!

I really think you should hold on till I 'optimise it for public consumption' if that's ok with you?!

Next Monday is a Bank Holiday, so I'll try to work over the week-end to have it ready for next week ok!

However, we still need to sort the music- votes now please!

Viv, I'll be patient I know it will be thoroughly worth the wait. I'm away next week anyway.

I liked "Let Me Entertain You" by Robbie on Jay's movie. I think it really fits, and the track builds and gets louder and more intense as our cars slowly went quicker and quicker!

Take care and happy editing!

If you've seen my other videos here Paul, you'll know it'll be well worth the wait!
I don't want to rush it & come out with something 'SoCal', so I'll take my time, mull over it, test some music tracks, look at the options & then I'll blast your organs apart with the '2006 E90post.com Most Outstanding Meets video'!

Hold on to your nappy, cos it's coming soon & you'll wet your pants when it does!

Viv

I'm with beauforty - me want to see more video! It's like Christmas all over ... in April!

By the way - thanks jhbodle and Viv for the [brief] clip we did get. Nice starters - now I want the mains!

Now, more! Forget that you have a real job and only 24 hours in the day ... gimme, gimme, gimme!

Oh, and which is worse? Being diverse or being a character? 'Cause I'm with Floyd - I resemble that remark.

And, you Brits with all your "ala carte" options! Nowhere in the BMWNA-offered packages was there a toaster, a microwave or a soda stream. Durn it! I got ripped off!! I'm off to write a complaint letter (mumble ... blasted BMWNA ... mumble ... diesels ... mumble ... options ... mumble ... mumble ... twitch)...

Marilyn

P.S. Hey! At least I'm not LURKING!!

We'll have to start a petition complaining about the bogus SatNav DVD- it totally improved our meet drive!
