Yeah, it may have been faster that day, but I still wonder "what if?" What if I hadn't taken you out for a spirited run on I95 15 min. before? What if my car wasn't heat soaked and my car's temp abnormally high @ 265 degrees F and climbing during our runs with Bimmermans54? What if I had started our runs 1 gear lower @ ~ 4,000rpm instead of 2,600-3,000rpm?

I think at the very least, our runs would've been a little closer anyhow.

Not that I'm saying that my car was as fast as Bimmermans54's car that day, but we've all got to wonder. With all that said, it's ALSO a good possibility that Bimemrmans54's car is indeed faster than mine with more HP and TQ.

funny, i was at the lauderdale meet and they stated the IC on the e90 was stock not aftermarket it was stock.

And keep in mind that the tank capacity is 16.1 gallons. Assuming your last tank was 93/94, your average will be slightly higher than the calculated number because at least one gallon (whatever was in the tank) is already 93/94.

On Bimmermans54's car? If so, then yes I believe he has a stock IC, BUT he has a custom cut Reiger front spoiler so apparently it gets A LOT more air sucked in than a stock IC with a stock front spoiler like mine.

NYCGarbagePrice on the other hand has the AA FMIC on his car, and apparently his car runs even cooler than Bimmermans54's car.

Doubtful... there will be plenty of room to work with engine mods on the M3. The bonus is that the car will come stock with the needed tranny, suspension and brakes to support additional power. So far, I have not seen any long term data that says that the 335 can handle additional strain placed on it by these mods.

In reality it was a crap race that was highlighting everything but the difference between the two products.

I agree and it has been debated extensively. I'm asking we let it go or discuss it one of the many other threads dedicated to it.
