The transmission filter needs to be replace once you drop the pan. The filter is built into the pan. The pan is about $300-$400 I think. The transmission takes about 6-7-8 qt... Don't remember but that's about $15-$20 a qt of redline I think.. While you're dropping the transmission pan, might change your mech sleeve. That's a $15-$20 part... I'm talking about auto, no idea for stick shift.

Anyone have a go to shop in the Mountainview thru San jose area? That of course, won't rip me off for any work that needs to be done. I want to put on some new rotors and brakes, and an oil change.

A&D autowerks. They charge $95 for an oil change (forgot what oil they use). If you bring your own oil, $36.

I was diying my fuel filter today and saw this:

This was on the drivers side (LHD) front wheel.

Can someone tell me what the tear/ripped metal looking part is?
Is this a safety issue?

That linkage to the right of the cracked bracket looks like the headlight leveling sensor. Time to do some googling.

looks like it's just the mounting bracket for the headlight level sensor. I would say it's not a safety concern. Strange that it cracked somehow.

Sup guys, anybody take advantage of any President's Day sales? Made off with a full Eisenmann exhaust system $2020 from Vivid Racing. Couldn't pass it up and I resisted so hard, but I'm unsure if I want to install it until I get a set of AA headers down the road.

I don't think one will interfere with the other. You spent all that money, put it on, it will sound nice! Adding headers later will be the same procedure regardless.

For sure, but I feel like I should get both installed at the same time LOL. Anyways, it should be up to a 4 week wait for the exhaust to come in. So far my wife is oblivious LOL, it was such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up!
