Could do it tonight buy I'm going to make sure its not leaking overnight.

Then put the dp back on and o2 sensor, tighten vbands attach 4 bolts to exhaust, then engine cover under belly, flash new base map and go.

Should be tomorrow night, or day

Its not leaking.

I have to go buy a couple of hose clamps for dvs and 3inc chargepipe.

I had to take them off to fit on the front oil drain as I couldn't see how the provided clamps were going to get on there.

I'm close

Just spent an hour or so on it. I have the exhaust and dps tightened. I have to put 2.25l of oil back in it after pulling the oil drain pipe off.

Then prime turbos,do a coolant air leak cycle or two, put tune on start it up, reset adaptions o2 etc with bt cable.

Pretty close

Started it. It fired straight up like it was going yesterday.

Just got one steering rack bolt and the underbelly to fit. Lost nut in top if rack for five minutes so I thought f it ill do it tomorrow.

Gave it a semi rev pretty excited to get it in.

All engine covers are on complete.

When doing the coolant air leak cycle I know you turn it to max heat and lowest fan but do you switch on the a/c also ?

When i installed the hotcharge pipe to intercooler i noticed a few bits of aluminium in it.

I started the car with the hot charge pipe to intercooler disconected. i seen metal in the hot charge pipe when i was putting intercooler in. i started engine to see if it would blow anything out. it only flows for a few seconds on cold start up, i gave it a few light thottles to blow meatl out.

couldnt sleep didnt want to wreck the engine risking metal being in there.

So i have taken the hotcharge pipe out and flushed it with a garden hose.

i have done this this morning back together, i still cant find one nut for steering rack.

I put it in a spanner trying to fit it on the bolt steering rack and its dissapeared in the steering rack somewhere.

had a meeting at 12, now i have to do some work.

got a stockish pump map of buraq thismorning.

yea i done the heater on cycle for 12 minutes. heater up full, fan low i cant remember if u need ac on or off.

This is the real world I'm not taking it to Advan and its ready to go on a Friday arvo.
I live in Darwin and do it myself, twice and three times sometimes
I loose bolts, get frustrated, stare at car, lay under car, curse at car, sweat on car etc.

should have been going three days ago

Went for a 20km drive.

Did a couple of wot up to 4.5k rpm

Car is very quiet all round cruising.

Intake temps seem to be the same cruising.

Spool can be easily heard over the intake.

Highest boost I read was 16psi.

Drivability is same as before, enough torque to get moving from 2500rpm....
