stangs are everywhere up here. they even have their own day at the 1/4 mile track, MOM's races. Mustangs on Mustangs. I took my 335 to their test and tune day and smoked every one that I ran against. They were all mostly stock, but still they just aren't fast until you drop a fair amount of bucks on them, pull a motor, and get the AWESOME launch kits installed.

yeah, they explained the whole internal filter thing to me. kinda dumb design, eh? they musta known about that because he warned me against changing it myself with off-the-shelf fluids not recommended for Hondas. in the end, he was right. I sold my accord with 170k on the clock and the original tranny fluid still in her with no issues.

yea alot of rice auto's are like that, my girls maxima has the same design. its not too big of a deal as long as its changed regularly from new because all the clutch disk dust gets drained out with the old fluid

I totally agree. But for most of the kids on this forum who stop at the dealer to have them top their oil off when it's low, they wouldn't know where to begin. You need mechanical ability (or lots of cash to pay someone) to get a stang in the 12's. lol

Agreed. plus they tend to be time bombs. seen a couple of 5.o's go boom at the strip.

I gotta get the footage of my buddy running an 11.2 in a LX coupe, all motor.
