Accel Ped Pos% - You never go WOT until 5200RPM, need to got on the gas from 2500RPM all the way until 6000RPM
Firstly, thanks for having a look!

STFT - Can you explain what this means or will result in? Sorry I am still new to this - have no clue how it can affect the car. I understand there is a large difference between STFT bank 1 + 2 which cannot be good.

AFR - Is it possible that during this pull the AFR fluctuates so much because the engine is always under load? I am not cruising but indeed "giving it a boot"

As for my accel ped pos I will have to go back and take a few more logs until I nail this. As said before still very new to this and have only take a handful of logs. I will try to get the car out again and get some better pulls with the accelerator depressed fully throughout the run.

Thanks again!

STFT's being off like that can be a few things though the first one to look at is the pre-cat o2 sensors. Depending on how many km's your car has and if they haven't been replaced you may need to do so.

https://www.docdroid.net/IyQ24N5/int...d-datalogs.pdf

Have a read through the above document, it will explain a lot

BM3Rrrr - I'm just going through that document now and I have noticed that my timing corrections seem pretty erratic across the run too. I have brand new Bosch coils + Plugs installed - do you reckon I should try a 95 OCT flash instead of the 98 OCT.

98 OCT is available everywhere here in AUS, however I am unsure of the quality of the fuel.

Thanks dude!

You can try to run a lower OCT map with 98 OCT fuel, it may clear those corrections up. Alternatively you could pump a few litres (5-7) of e85 with the 98 OCT fuel to bump up the octane level, personally that is what I do.

Perfect, so either bring down the tune or increase the ethanol level in my fuel!

Thanks heaps!

No worries, make sure to repost a log as well. Follow the directions of "how to" at the top of the document I sent you.

One thing I forgot to mention:

Try resetting lambda adaptations in MHD, this may help with STFT's

Here is another good link regarding fuel trims: https://www.aa1car.com/library/what_is_fuel_trim.htm

Thanks, I just saw this!

Didn't get a chance to get the car out yesterday after work.
Will try my luck again this afternoon!

I would suggest you go back to stage 1 until you get a FMIC.

Have a look at these logs please.
https://datazap.me/u/curt/more-81-e3...16-17-22-23-24

https://datazap.me/u/curt/more-81-e3...&data=3-4-5-22

Some significant timing corrections in the 2nd one?? I've been running the 8.1 E30 1+ for a few weeks now and it was pretty erratic at first but seems to have settled down and runs like a beast now. Fuel is approx E36 with 91 oct base. About the only thing I dont like about it is when the boost hits it's so sudden. Puts a smile on my face though. Can anyone give me an idea approx what kind of HP/Tq #'s it's putting out?

If those logs were made on a relatively flat road virtual dyno gives a good estimate. I use it quite a bit for comparisons. Just provide best inputs...

Garage List
Could someone take a look at mine? I think I have forgotten to switch DSC off, that is what the cyl #1 and 2 correction stands for? Mhd 1+ w Wagner base IC (not very efficient as I see the IAT rise)...
What about those other records? Thx

Like BM3Rrrr said, a FMIC is needed (IAT climbing to 140°F) but I am curious if someone knows what could explain a such difference between boost mean and boost psi ? i read that 0.x psi is "normal" but here the difference is huge.

Boost mean is measured pre throttle body in the charge pipe. It's seeing 21.4psi and thats only the max it can read so who knows how high those little turbos are actually pushing.
Probably also why intake temps skyrocket as turbos are working way outside efficiency zone, getting super hot.

Actual boost is measured in the intake manifold after throttle body. As you said the difference between mean boost and boost is huge i'd be checking the intake manifold for leaks?

Well seen ! i didn't think about this limit. Weird that it doesn't trigger an overboost code or something.

6inline beside checking intake manifold, could you try 7.1 map to see if it's better ?

overbooosting need help 2007 335i n54

The car is running great besides the fact that it keeps closing the throttle due to overboost. I'm FBO and running The MHD version 7 of the stage 2 + map. The turbos on the car only have 50,000 miles on them with zero to no rattle. The boost solenoids have just been replace 200 miles ago. Is this a problem with my tune or something else.

Yes, boost psi/mean & target look good now
And yup, it's time for a FMIC if you plan to run Stage 2+ all the time.
