The changeover happened around 03/2009 if I read RealOEM right. The cover that came with my 02/2009 also doesn't automatically go up without a nudge. I haven't figured out how to fix it yet. It has the round ends, and an umbrella clip too.

The 2010 cover I have with the triangle ends must be flipped up every time, they removed the automatic function. It has no umbrella clip.

The 2006 cover that I sold actually had smaller round ends than the 2009 cover I have now... Yay refinements?
I was looking for into on this thanks!
Sucks they got ride of the auto roll up function.
My 2007 auto rolls up when the glass is lifted and auto rolls up when I open the entire hatch and double click the hatch open handle.
It does not roll up if I double click the key fob though.

Does anyone know if there is an e91 M-Sport rear bumper that is available without the PDC holes? When looking online, all I can find are ones with the holes. I contacted my local BMW dealer and they couldn't find one without the PDC holes either. I'd like to, if possible, avoid having to have the holes filled prior to painting.

I’d highly recommend ordering from Schmiedmann. I ordered my front bumper without reflectors from ECS and it took several months to arrive and when it did, they sent the wrong bumper (some junk replica M3). It took another several months for them to reorder. In the end I got the correct part but it took nearly a year. Schmiedmann has been awesome and has quick shipping via DHL, even with large items.

Shipping is much cheaper than most other places I've checked out.
I was also considering ordering from getbmwparts.com as they offer free pickup and are only about 2 hours south of me.

Getbmwparts.com is excellent as well. Evan there is solid!

Shipping is a deal killer on large items to the West Coast, though.

Either way ECS is garbage.

Here's a side skirt comparison between the SE skirts and the Mtech/Msport:

For anyone else installing these, install the clips on the car first and pop the side skirts into them. I struggled for over an hour trying to get them clipped in attached to the skirt, which is how I always see it done. I'm really happy with the outcome. Subtle, yet a huge improvement.
Are the side skirts for the sedan and wagon the same?

Yep, they are the same! I believe the used M-Sport skirts I bought off of eBay were from a sedan.

What are the part numbers for the mtech skirts? I've been looking for a set but can only find the not so appealing replica M3 skirts.

I never ever park next to other cars but made two exceptions this weekend.

Chubby brother, size difference was hillarious -

Older brother -

X5M was not my cup of tea, great color though.

The e30 was awesome, it's a UK import that the owner converted to LHD and is well on his way to stripping the interior and other fun stuff.

I love the E30 wagons so much but the way the hatch opens makes them kinda useless as a wagon. They are still so bad ass though.

I ordered some fluids for an oil change and my buddy that works for Liqui Moly ask for a photo for their Insta page. I felt kinda silly taking it but its fairly decent phone pic.

And not a photo but my wife took the wagon on a pizza run last night before the game..... I need an exhaust.

If the front was 1” lower, I would absolutely love it!!!
Waiting for warmer weather to put m3 front bumper and hybrid m tech rear bumper.
