How much did this cost you or did you do it yourself? Would love to see photos.

The standard M Sport E91 bumper is readily available. Not sure what the angle is here except to save money because you have an E90 unit in hand. The M3 splice on the other hand makes sense.

I haven’t had time so I still haven’t done it. It’s on the long list of car things to do.
I’ll be doing it myself.

I got mine from getbmwparts.com which is BMW of Silver Spring, MD. I saved a TON of money by picking the parts up myself. Luckily they are only about 2 hours south of me. My order included the required bumper guides.

Snapped a quick pic of my dirty car on the way home from the gym last night. I wish it would stop raining.

Doing Wagon Things

The wagon has seem some adventures. My Snowperson will hate that I'm posting this photo, as she was trying a new colour for her nose and it was, well, you know...

But the wagon is awesome. We went camping with the coolest camper ever. There was not a lot of weight so you didn't really notice any difference with it attached.

Next we ventured South for some camping. With two small humans in our family, we have lost the ability to pack light. But with everything tucked in somehow and the cruise control set, we all enjoyed another effortless trip in absolute comfort. This was one of the last times those rims were on the car (Style 269 but 18's from a 135i, so less than ideal offset really).

A while ago I convinced the Finance Ministry that a set of pristine Style 220 with fresh MPSS were more of an investment, than an expense. Of course, I was allowed to think I got one over her, so went ahead and purchased the wheels. (Teaser: she won). Promises of selling the 193's that I had before the 169's had no mention of a reasonable selling price... But I digress.

Currently I'm running the setup below. OEM 220M's with MPSS. Rears are 265/35/19 and front are 245/35/19. Plenty of rubbing until a slight lift in the rear, along with some rolling all around. It still rubs on driveways, and those huge dips that make you lift out of your seat, but other than that it rides like it's on a cloud. The kids now know the rubbing noise means you have cool wheels. My wife is now left with no doubt that she has 3 children.

Thanks for all the Touring love on here team!

a teardrop with a slideout of the tongue is a pretty cool idea.

I've got some friends that have built their own teardrops.
they're not hard to build.

Picked up a Saddle Brown interior this morning for a steal. Now just need to make the sedan rear seat work in my wagon. Lots of grey to paint black too.
