hey seth question about your h&r sport springs. hows the ride? is it bumpy? are you running stock shocks with that?

yep stock struts

its not bumpy but when you hit a bump you can feel it a little more. i think its a good trade off for the look and little bit better handling.

i didn't think that was possible. it sucks as it is already.

i don't know if the reason it causes this is because of xi models, suspension, or rft's. or maybe all of the above.

Me either. Would love to do coils but not dropping that kinda money on them. Leaning toward the H&R sport springs. Should give a decent drop of 1.3" in the front and 1.2" in the rear.

Need to find some time to paint the hubs. Carols, can you PM me the stuff you used? Not sure how i will do this since i don't have the proper equipment to take the wheels on and off. What are the chances we can do this at Ben's house? They look like absolute shit right now!

235/35/19 in front and 265/30/19 in back. ET 35 front and 30 rear. Have not put them on yet though. Interested to see how they look without the drop. Heard it is worse on the Xi's with 19's. My 18's look bad enough!

i'm scared as to see how they will ride with stock shocks.

and like i said before. do you know what's causing the pothole phenomena on our cars (rtf,xi,stock suspension)??? and by installing these, it will get worse wouldn't it?

Not sure what is causing this issue. I have non-rfts so don't think it is that. Could be the suspension. Been reading a lot of this from the xi guys and they all complain about it. The true answer to our problems are the KW V3 coilovers, but too much money for me.

Not sure if it will get worse. Seth could answer this question better than me. I guess you sort of give up a little ride comfort for looks. Not sure why the xi has such a big difference than the i. I understand a little, but it is pretty drastic.
