Love the look of the pedals! I might tackle that as a little DIY and make a custom set for myself! Gotta love having the only set ever made!

Thought about selling the 335 for a 2012 Grand Cherokee with a Hemi.

Ultimately decided Ill buy a winter wheel/tire setup and drive like the true northerner I am.

A little background. Ive lived in the Northeast all my life and driven almost exclusively 4WD SUVs with snow rated all terrains. Plowing through 2 feet of snow has always been my favorite part of winter. Currently, I live in SW Florida and decided a RWD 335 would be a fun car down here... then I got a job just outside of DC where I'll have to commute 40 miles round trip.
What?

I've driven all my m3s in the winter on blizzaks and had a ton of fun.

Also, it snows in DC like 4 times a year and melts by end of day, right?

Finally got up enough nerve to slice open my FOB and swap the shell for an ebay cheap one. I can't believe I waited this long, but it was the only key I had and was afraid of messing it up or getting it stuck in my dash etc. anyway calling the dealer and having a quote of $230 to replace was the push I needed. Glad it's done and working fine.

Didn't do anything and hopefully won't do anything to it any time soon.

Needs Transmission fluid/filter, so will do that in a week.

I like to keep my money where it belongs, in my wallet....and not down the drain (into cars) hehe

Had it towed (on Bosch) back to the independent. He sold me a Bosch reman starter last December on the idea that it had a two year warranty with roadside assistance. Tuesday, the bendix wouldn't engage.

Warranty and maintenance work. Oil filter housing gasket, replaced a switch, new wipers, and oil change. Total cost: $0!

I'm at 3mm on my front brakes, so I'll get myself some new brakes before the maintenance plan is up. I've gotten more than my money's worth out of CPO and extended maintenance.

Why the replacement?
I tap a hole on it, trying to fix the threads on the RR seatbelt hole.

Where the bag is, didn't know it was that close.

ah why'd you switch em out? still a car newbie, but I've noticed an increase in ride quality. My gf noticed it on the passenger side when she pointed it out. Turns out that my RPM's don't decrease as fast as it did with stock DV's and CP. after I let go the accelerator. In essence I get less jerkiness while riding and it's turned the car into an even more pleasant experience.

makes sense since the turbosmarts are proven to hold boost down low so you gained power in the WTQ department so it translates to
harder and smoother initial acceleration.

My VRSF CP with DVs was leaking so i swapped out to a new CP with a BOV. it was due to the O ring and not the DVs.

I suppose i wanted something different at the time but i prefer the sound
of the turbosmarts over the tial bov.

Last night I replaced the driver lock actuator, parts FCPeuro.com... Simple replacement but tight squeeze getting parts out. Works like a charm. Next, delete CCV and flex disc guibo. 210,000mls 2006 325XI, my new job, replacing parts before they fail...
