Fixed my oil cooler gasket and hose leak. Finally got my flex fuel wires connected up. Going to fill up some e85 before a cruise with some friends in LA tomorrow.

I swear if you and I were to design our own BMWs without limitations they would not be very far off. The SG and CF combo with the strip looks perfect on that rear end, the diffusor in CF just sets the whole damn thing off.

Bravo once again Mr. Socket.

Finally replaced my vacuum hoses with verocious motorsports silicone hoses, still need to replace the 2 lines between oil filter cap and airbox. The front wastegate was a pain in the a$$ to get on but i managed.

20% ceramic tint
The older i get the lighter the tint gets, btw don't be afraid of 20%. I guess we're lucky in Colorado (mile high) " Window tinting permitted as long as it allows at least 27% VLT"..

BMW Jack Stands

Cleaned and polished my headlights and foglights. Foglights need to be removed and sanded and polished because of the knicks and dings.

Also spent a bit of time with a band saw and made me a set of unofficial BMW Jack Stands that fit the jacking pockets.

Amazon delivery guy showed up just before I sat down for dinner around 6 but I didn't start until about 12 or 1AM... wrapped it up at 3ish after trying for a while to figure out how to raise the window manually. It was quite a pain since the motor was locked in the down position and taught on the window but I eventually got it without breaking anything by reinstalling the switch and giving a bunch of slack to the wire to allow the window to raise.

Out with the old, in with the new! BMW wanted $600-$800 and half a day to do this, I got it done with a $60 part (let's hope it holds up!) and a couple hours of learning and doing.

Old busted plastic piece can be seen near the top by the spring/wire:
