The Curt tow receiver with a 1 1/4” to 2” hitch adapter.

They are BMW Style 359M. Avantgarde and some other brands have replicas of them if you don't mind that.

As far as I know, Monaco blue wasn't an option for M-Sport cars, so you'll have to source a kit and get it painted.

I'm surprised uhaul would rent you that trailer. They wouldn't let me rent one with the 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport I used to own because I forgot to check the "tow package" box.

Did you just use the Curt trailer wiring kit? I bought a kit for my E91 but I haven't installed it yet, I don't like the idea of using wiretaps on my OEM taillight wiring.

Yea they let me take it. Even with the 2” hitch flipped upside down. Wasn’t sure if that was going to fly with them.
They did say to only load it 2/3 of the way though.

The frm module is giving a bunch of rear end light codes though, so maybe I have to code the “towing” option.
The 1 1/4” - 2” adapter has some slop in it, so I don’t recommend using an adapter.

That's strange. I thought M-Sport was a package option on any E91.

Only LesMans was offered in e91 M sport for blue colors.

Any color, no.

Some colors weren't available with the M-Sport package unless special ordered (Individual).

You can see for yourself on BMW Configurator. Some colors will make you remove the M-Sport package.
