i probably cant do it til this weekend earliest cuz i am packing and moving this week, i dont know how long you wanna wait, it the shaft is broken and the pulley is crooked your gonna throw a belt, your better off finding a belt thats shorter and bypass the pump til its fixed

btw i moved in this past weekend to the new spot so i know moving is tiring =P

but keep an eye on that belt bro, it may get thrown

can it be just a woodruff key on the ps shaft or is it a tapered shaft?

if its a straight shaft with a woodruff key and the pulley is just spinning and not the shaft you can just get a woodruff key for like $5 max and swap that out

nah pulley is still on... belt still on... its spinning .... fluid is milky purple and can see some metal in it too...

hmm, thats weird, i cant see it actually snapping, but its very possible, buy that reman one in the link, half the price, and its very doubtful it will last any less time then a new one.

i would buy the reman for sure, especially if it has a warranty, theres really not much to a power steering pump, and its not common for shafts to break, so it really comes down to bearings and seals, and thats all replaced in a reman unit

yea, we deal with zf supplying the fuel pumps and some other pumps for our heavy equipment at work too.
