Thank you for the info. Do you have his products? If yes for how long and how you use them. I don’t care about mileage.

I have the RB TWO's and they use the stock size 1.75" inlets, and I'm using the stock outlets. As far as OEM turbo durability...hard to say. OEM turbos are designed around 8-10psi boost....I'm hitting 27psi with my RB TWO's on an E40 mix and a custom tune. I don't know if there is really an apples to apples comparison......but they do have larger bushings/bearings than the OEM turbos....so by all practical sense, they should last longer.

Yes I have his RB Twos Plus.. just picked them up from him on 1/14.. I literally have less than 100 miles on them, running full E85 with JB4/Custom BEF. You can PM me if you want more details. I would be more than glad to send you all the pictures I took of the turbos before installing them.. I have more than what he has on his website if interested.

None of his upgraded turbos are "compatible" with factory inlets, yes they will of course fit, but could cause premature wear in the thrust bearings with the higher suction of the compressors. The OEM billets are compatible however. I cannot personally speak for reliability yet as I am installing my twos tomorrow, but as I have heard and seen, they are comparable to OEM so long as you keep them close to the range he has on his website. I'd be happy to send pictures before installation as they are sitting right next to me.

It's pretty much at the limit of the stock DI system....with PI it might make some more.
Have you heard from him recently ? Emailed him twice in the past two weeks no response…
He's definitely swamped but he will get back to you. Rob is a one man show which is why the quality of his turbos are 10 times better than everyone else. He'll reply for sure.

Another reason why you should not buy a cheap set of Chinese turbos.

Basically....they are all over the place as far as quality control goes. Same problem as always.

By the time you pay $1,000 for a set of cheap ebay 17t turbos (after shipping), and then send them out to have them gone through and rebuilt/remachined/balanced, and shipped back to you.....you would probably be money ahead by spending $2k on a set of RB TWO's.

This is my thought as well.

Gamble or buy quality. It is the labor that kills you. RB seems to be the most reliable.

If you want above 650whp you should get a single turbo.

Absolutely. The problem is.. most people that have been on this platform for awhile have noticed that china has destroyed the turbo market. To be honest if I knew nothing about these cars it would be hard not to buy a set of turbos from EBay, Amazon, VTT, DAW, Frankenturbo and the rest of the Chinese drop shippers.

These cars are cheap now and any every kid that wants a fast car jumps all over them not knowing jack shit. Which is why the above vendors cash in.
