Tip #2 looks nice now but it won't after a few miles. I have a similar beveled tip on my car now and its constantly black with soot. Our cars put out quite a bit. I'd recommend going with #1, much less maintenance.

The tips are 3.5in (90mm) in diameter. We also ended up going with the angle cut because of the angle that the muffler comes out. This way it's more flush with the bumper.

The group buy is now officially over.

Anyone who still wants in will have to call in today and place your order over the phone. The price will be adjusted today for online ordering.

Thanks again for all the support!

We're very comfortable with the mid April date. We have 45 E92 335i exhausts coming in at that date.

If you are interested in getting the highest quality full (downpipe-back) exhaust at a cost level (and free shipping), tomorrow is your last chance... after this the price will be $1599 for the non-res and $1699 for the resonated.

You will hear from our customers that this exhaust is actually priced too low at those regular prices. Well, we feel it's a fair price for the product, and it will allow us to continue making them (and other innovative products) for a long time.

Are they in stock? Well, I have great news for you regarding this! We have just been informed that we will actually have 45 exhausts (25 more than we had originally anticipated) at our disposal on around April 15th, so you won't even have to wait much!..

Also, this thread will be closed after tomorrow and a new official RennART exhaust info/q&a thread will be started.

Thanks for all your support!
The Group Buy orders sound as if they shipped but if you were to order now, you will get them Mid-April.

Sorry about the confusion. What I meant was that we shipped out the first 5 exhausts we got in, but the remaining exhausts (originally 20 more, but now we're getting 45 more) arrive here by mid April. I basically just wanted to announce that the intro pricing is now officially over.

Dammit man, I would really have loved for the mufflers to be pushed up more into the car. That looks ricey as hell with that polished steel back there. I'm going to have to break out the high temp flat black paint I guess.

(no offense to the RennART guys as a lot of the exhausts are like this)

Hm. Those appear to be the type 1 tips. I thought there was something wrong with the quality of those and you were having them redone?

You are correct! Raigun's Tip 1 had some slight imperfections on the inner side, so it doesn't show when installed. He was ok with this, and like most of you guys... we will be supplying him with a fresh new pair of Tip 1s when they arrive mid-April.
