Its getting to be crunch time and I'm getting a little nervous. I suspect it will dock tomorrow and I will have my car by the end of next week!! There is no power like M-Power!

LesLazz - Just a quick post and I'll be gone till tomorrow. It is my understanding that they do work on Saturday at the VPC if there are a number of priority one vehicles (already sold). Make sure that this ship gets up there tomorrow morning please. My dealer emailed today and said I would have car next week. G

WAIT FOR ME GUYS!!!! I

I abandoned The Swan Ace because I spoke with my SA today. I AM on the Maersk Welkin and if everything goes as planned, I will have my car by Friday of next week, if not sooner!

Long Beach has been a long stop, lotsa Toyotas to drop off, I guess. But, it was the last stop before VPC. I am getting very excited. My SA said "See? That wasn't so long now was it?". Got a good chuckle out of that!

Great News fthrower! Hopefully, we aren't the only ones that have ordered cars! As far as making sure the ship comes in - Aye, Aye Captain, I will do my best!

My SA called, said Friday at the latest!

It's supposed to be 7-14 days from port until I can pick up my E92 335xi at Camp BMW in Spokane, Washington.

It's kind of sacrilege in this thread, but if interest rates go down July 1st, I don't mind waiting to take delivery. I think I'm locked in at no more than 3.9%.

Morning All!

Pete - If you get a chance today, you think youcan post a pic of our ship in the port? It's about all we can get today, no live cams at this port.

Three more things to do, process, ship, inspect! We should all be seeing our cars very soon!

I think it all depends on the order coming off the ramp. If you parked yours near the door, you will get it Tuesday or Wednesday but if you parked in the basement next to the poker game (like LesLazz), it will be Friday or Saturday. And I understand the ED vehicles are, at some point, buffed out to remove scratches and such from wear and tear and placing your bier stein on the bonnet.

I had to find a way to help pay for this machine, didn't I? Poker seemed the logical thing to do for 2.5 weeks.

C'mon be a lot of Priority Ones' on this old gal. We want our cars now!

That sounds about right. Man...my front bumper got a little scratched because parallel parking in Europe is horrible! They park by feel and I found my car wedged in literally about a centimeter on each side.

They might have to clean my steering wheel too. I was gripping that thing like the Hulk when I was going 150 mph on the autobahn...fun, but a lil scary.

Congrats to everyone for having the boat arrive safe. So when are we meeting in Napa?

Well - I didn't look quite that old before this terribly long voyage. I can still put my foot on the gas though. I gotta admit that you certainly are photogenic. That must be your good side.

I really plan to work out today but I procrastinated by calling Wagoneer's Trucking. I was curious as to whether they worked on weekends. They actually work seven days a week. The guy didn't know anything about ships as they get their cars from the VPCs. Once there is some possibility at all that they have our cars, they need the last seven numbers from the VIN to confirm although that must signal something at the dealers as that is when I am supposed to get a call - when my car is released to the trucking company. Anyway, Wagoneer's # is 800-449-3195.

They are all good sides.

I guess I have a little more self-control than some people (who shall remain nameless) on this thread! I was going to wait until Monday to call Wagoneer. Good info though, thank you.

Les

EDIT: Lost the quote box somewhere along the line

It is my understanding that the web site lags behind any actual activity - so if it says your car is at the Vehicle Processing Center, look out the front window and see if it is in your driveway. The only telephone number (other than the dealer) that I am aware of only tracks the car until it is shipped out (in our case from Germany).
