You guys are out of your mind if you're rocking basic bitch insurance like USAA, State Farm or the like on something like this. You run hagerty or something similar with agreed upon value, and usually somehow even get better rates.

I really like that civic, hope you can make it nice and clean after the idiot struck you. I'm always contentious when I drive because I see stuff like this all the time and I'm in illegal immigrant city.

I also want one, for absolutely no reason. K26 fraken 4piston racing engine for me.

Gonna be harsh and say this was my reaction, you REALLY need agreed value from your insurer. My 997 is insured as per market which is a crazy number for a 15 year old car but it is what it is and my insurer charges me for it.

I’m thinking out of pocket will be close to 10k. Wheels alone are about 3 of that. Sourcing parts and paint work will probably be the remaining.

USAA sees this car as a 1998 Honda civic and nothing more. Expecting the worst when it comes to insurance.
Uninsured, no driver's license and illegal immigrant of top of everything. What happened to them? Did they just let them walk off?

Not sure if that's pathetic. You can start a GoFundMe for just about anything.

How long before the Gov figures out how to tax gofundme and they are no longer considered "personal gifts". Site sure does seem like a great way to launder money.
