Some awful luck for Ferrari with a perfect weekend from RB, both championships are back on now. Now we’re far enough in the season that the development battle should heat up. I’m very excited to see how every team battles the porpoising, downforce, weight issues.
My be too early to say this but it looks like Rus has beaten Lewis mentally as well as on track. Great to see Haas and Alfa get into the midfield after being bottom feeders for the last few years. Also surprising that Ric stayed in last place. Last edited by E92inNC; 04-24-2022 at 01:17 PM.. |

Great race for Max/Checo and RB, just what we needed to get the points totals back inline.
The implosion of Hamilton is something I never thought I'd see. I mean I get the car sucks and all, but to have Russell blowing his wheels off is a complete surprise. Wow. |

Man tough luck for sainz...
But holy crap we know the number 1 at Merc for this season is George, took that pile of crap to p4. I bet toto is glad he fired Bottas now.

Bottas may have been good in the Merc now, look how good he is in the Alfa now without the shackles of his last employer

The results in the Alfa aren't really reflective of what he could do in the Merc, because the Alfa is an easier car to drive and his only comparison/benchmark is a rookie. Bottas just simply couldn't perform under the pressure of being in a top team and that's just how it is.

After qualifying I was thinking the same thing, 2022 is done for Merc. Then I saw the Ferraris F up, and this just shows me there is still a small minute chance that if the merc upgrades are good they have a chance. Because redbull and Ferrari keep stealing points from one another keeping the delta to first place small enough that it's possible to catch up.

Maybe he had damage from the crash with SAI.
And his choice for white's was also the wrong one. Too bad SAI had to pay for RIC's mistake, I had high hopes for him this weekend, and it would have also made an interesting comparison between LEC racepace and SAI racepace, as LEC wasn't having his day. Too bad he made that mistake, it would've been interesting to see if he could catch PER and do some moves (well, he did a move, but the wrong one, thinking his car was the general Lee )
