Also, Fluid quoted just under $300 for the suspension in case anyone wants to know what kind of prices they are charging. This is a damn good price for full suspension swap!
Wow, that is a real good price. I am thinking of getting the recently announced BMW performance suspension for e92, maybe they could put mine in too???

This is starting to sound like a pretty cool meet to be at.

you can get a loaded up 335i Sedan for ~600 a month +tax

a coupe, leases for more, thats probably why youre seeing the disparity between the 135 and 335.

my lease is 765/mo for a 335i coupe, nothing down, 12k miles a year for 3.5 years (tax rolled into payment as well)

Ahh, I see the logic 7 no longer comes std on the 335i. I know in 08 it did. I also actually thought the 335i coupe came standard with leather sport seats. My bad. What I was trying to compare was getting a standard 135i up to what I THOUGHT was a std 335i coupe (id insert a little smiley guy banging his head but dont have the bandwith for them)lol. Here are the numbers I had used for my wonderfully flawed logic. These prices were the military prices that I had quotes for.

135i
Base Price $31,500
Front Power seats $995 (standard on 335i coupe)
Logic 7 $875 (was standard in 08)
Leather Seats $1450 (thought was standard on 335i 08 coupe)
Sport package $1000 (basically to get the sport seats that I thought were standard on a 335i coupe)

335i Coupe
Base Price 37,050

the only thing out of those that has ever been standard on a 335 is the power seats

Hardwire isn't hard if you want to wire it to the sunroof area. I just hooked up my Escort 8500 this week to this and it works great. About a 10-15 minute thing.

hardwiring the radar doesnt take that long, but i prefer the fuse tap method over the sunroof method. you dont have to splice or cut into any original wires from the car.

^ Looking good! Just did a detail on my car in december. Looking forward to doing it again. Never used a FLEX or PC though. Hopefully you guys will do a little of this in April. Can't be that hard though right? Dec, this is what I did: Clay, JetSeal (let sit for 12 hours), JeatSealed again (let sit for 24 hours), applied 5050 Wax. Also Jetsealed and put wheel wax on the rims. I don't have the halogen lights so not sure what the paint "truely" looks like. Doesn't seem bad in normal light. I would imagine though with the amount of times I use ONR, there has to be some damage.

yeah thats good stuff. its tough to really see without the hals though. My car looked great but once you put the hals on it brings out everything wrong.

Also you need a 7424 or a flex to bring cut through the swirls. a 7424 doesn't do much which is why i like a flex but a flex doesn't do as much compared to a polisher. If you want you can always come over. I"ll be doing my car all weekend.

Looking to get a set. Where did you buy yours? I saw some like that at home depot. Those are 1000W a piece? Kinda of nervouse to put the lights on the car. Would love to come over but on call this weekend. Might take you up on that some weekend in march though if you don't mind.

So, I went out and washed the car. Two f'ing minutes after I finished, the damn snow starting to fall. So tired of this BS weather around here. Wonder if it is still going to be snowing in April?? At least it looks nice in the garage.

yeah i use a flex 3401. i like it a lot, very well balanced compared to a polisher. just wish it would cut more. but it cuts a lot more compared to a pc 7424.

Yeah was leaning toward a PC but seems like FLEX is better, even for starters. Something I would like to learn later on this year. Good luck with the detail. Post more pics when you are finished. Enjoy the snow!!

psssh i wont be out in the snow at all. unless i have at least 2 coats of 109 on it and 2 coats of cg 5050 or swissvax best of show.

i'll probably go with best of show for this one. just because it smells sooooo good.

jbone where do you work / what do you do?
